How Jenn and Miles meet is a funny and somewhat embarrassing meet cute and the two of them have a insta-love hate moment. The attraction is there with the sparks are flying, but these two started off on the wrong foot, which only adds fuel to the fire as enemies. And when they start to work together, their enemy status slowly changes to something like friends to lovers. It’s only when a certain playing card enters, that makes Miles realize what he really wants and the caveman in him wants to mark his territory and claim her as his own. These two are hot and cold with one another and the games they play make things complicated and blur the lines and intentions. But once they give into that pull and their need for one another, the fireworks go off. There are steamy moments and smexy scenes that will get you all hot and bothered so have your fan ready. The word kitten definitely has a different meaning to me now after reading this book. Miles was sure he could buy the inn with offer nobody would refuse except her new neighbor just did. He couldn't believe previous owner's granddaughter was gorgeous red head. He would have to figure out a way to buy her so he could have his land. I am intrigued by Wyatt Emory and Meadow and fingers crossed there will be a book about them in the future. I would love to know more about their story and where Wyatt fits in with the Heart’s Edge crew. I love that series and it’s one of my favorites. I also would love to see if there will be a book about Eliza. I've read most of the books Ms. Snow has written and this is only the third book I've given a 1 or 2-star rating. I usually love her books. In fact, the last book I read by her, "No Fair Lady," I had this to say in my review: Stunning, incredible, breath-taking, masterpiece. Eliza is a caffeine addicted dreamer who dreams of one day having her own little place of heaven, her very own coffee shop where she is the creator of special blends, living from short term job to short term job. She was enjoying a cup of coffee at her friend’s coffee shop the day that she meets Cole, but things become heated between them when he verbally assassinates Wayne and there is no way that she was going to stand idly by and let it continue. But Eliza and her own special blend make an impression and Cole decides that he will do what ever it takes to have her come work for her, and with the kind of money she can make helping him develop a new blend her dream looks to be closer than she could believe. But when more than just coffee is developing between who will get burned in the heat of the moment, or is this a perfect blend for life?

This is book four in the Bossy Seattle Suits series about bossy billionaires and the quirky women they fall for. This series follows the Chicago-based Bad Chicago Bosses series. Though this Seattle series is somewhat similar, it does have a slightly different feel. We didn't exactly hit it off when he showed up with an offer to buy my land and my hyperactive dogs yanked my robe open right in front of him.Miles is a CEO of a company, and has gotten a hardened heart due to a previous experience with a vicious woman. He blames himself for the death of his mother, and is now dealing with a father suffering with Alzheimer’s. His life revolves around his business and his father.

Am I rating this 4 stars because it's objectively good? Or because I was specifically in the mood for an office romance and this hit each and every spot for me? We will never know. Once again I find myself beginning my review before finishing. I'm only three chapters in and I'm already ensnared and enthralled so much that jotting my thoughts down as I go is a must. These characters are just that engrossing to read! Not to mention the beginnings of the plot and I just know the interactions between Jenn and Miles is going to increase right along with the tension and chemistry. I'm on pins and needles with the anticipation!Miles is the bossy next-door neighbor who wants to buy it. Of course, he's not happy when she turns down his offer so he tries something different, he offers her a job to help her pay for the expensive repairs but also to help him with the advertising his company is in desperate need for. He hopes in time, she will see that he isn’t as bad as she thinks he is. As Miles is introduced he is an emotionally closed off cynic, yet has the heart of an artist. The fact that Jenn’s dogs love him is enough for me to stay in his corner no matter how much I want to shake him sometimes! Although he is the CEO of a huge media firm his fumbling attempts at personal communication with Jenn are often cringe worthy. But, you just can’t help hoping he can do better next time. Fun, snarky, witty grumpy/sunshine enemies to lovers with a hefty dose of heat, some suspense, and the most adorable teen, ever. One Bossy Dare is the kind of enemies to lovers I like best, with 2 lovable characters, even though it took me awhile to warm up to Mr. Grumpypants. All the heat, all the feels, and COFFEE!! What more could you ask for in a story? Eliza is a young single woman working short term jobs just to survive. She is addicted to brewing flavorful coffee, to hopefully somehow get the money to open her own coffee shop. While Oh My 😱, how I loved Miles, he is such a wounded bear, lashing out because he is in pain all the while being a real softy inside.
