Got this today, filled the freezer blocks up and put them in the freezer, but if you want really cold air I will suggest you do what I have done and use 2 conventional freezer packs with the gel inside as they will stay frozen for hours, you can stack 2 of them on the left side of the tank opposite the water pump and fill with cold water they fit in perfectly not from tap but some that has been in the fridge for hours then presto try and use filtered ice cold water to prolong the life of the equipment too. Look elsewhere for a more suitable cooling solution that can effectively tackle the challenges posed by a loft environment. It can lower and warm outlet temperature and makes the air fresh with the use if equipped ionizer and the air cooler cools the air by the process of evaporation of water，which, in turn, helps to reduce the greenhouse effect.a little noisy when on full speed but you get used to it, my main room is 14 feet sq and even on low speed with cooler on it and the ice bars in it cooled the room fairly quickly, you must keep windows and doors shut for max effect, great value and looks very modern in living room, easy to maintain, def recommend this product.
