Barrettine’s Wood Protective Treatment is an excellent product that seems to have better penetration on dried out, sun-bleached wood (that I have neglected longer than I should) than the more expensive Premium Wood Preservative that I have previously used, although its colour is less golden and rather darker.

For unpreserved/untreated timber we recommend using Barrettine Universal Preserver first as a primer.
