But once assembled the shed is very strong and sturdy and has withstood both strong winds and heavy rain with no problem. I couldn't help with the roof as I'm not tall enough so we had to get my son up to help with that, but apart from that my husband and I managed to put it together fine. Like every shed in the Oakland line, it features the rustic attractive look and feel of worn wood - but unlike wood, it will never rot, rust, or dent, and the original finish won’t peel. Assembly was straight forward, but hated the self drilling screws that had to penetrate the metal framework.

The main problem are the tiny "self drilling" screws which take some effort with the drill driver before they finally decide to bite and go in and you're constantly dropping them on the floof because they are so fiddly and small to hold - and you only get the exact amount you need so don't lose any. We bought this as we had bought another Keter shed about twelve years ago and that's still as good as new. The attractive Manor 4x6 is a narrow yet durable shed designed to fit neatly into the small space alongside your home. It appears to be waterproof, but only time will tell, though the roof is in a single piece that folds over the top so I can't see there being any issues.

Note it took two experienced flat-pack experts just under six hours to assemble without stopping for breaks. The reason it was difficult to assemble is that the instruction manual manual doesn't match the parts. To help make the process easier we drilled a small hole in the desired area and then used the electric screwdriver. My husband is no DIY man but managed to assemble almost single handed except for having help putting roof on.
