As a result, those who find them problematic are avoiding them and increasingly, cosmetic companies are avoiding them as well. The Holika Holika cleansing foam contains extracts from aloe vera leaves that are aged three years or more only. Introducing the Etude House Soon Jung, pH 6.5 Whip Cleanser, a gentle, whipped cream-textured cleanser that contains weakly acidic bubbles to help moisturize your skin as you cleanse. Just two pumps from the generously sized bottle is enough for my whole face in the AM and PM. However, I took to “slugging” my skin with this layerable moisturizer on nights when my skin was feeling particularly dry or irritated. Bumping the application amount to 4+ pumps allowed me to really slather my skin in the stuff (good thing the bottle is so big!) and allow it to absorb for about 15 minutes before heading to bed. Foam cleansers are known to be the go-to option for people with oily skin, however, Korean foam cleansers are suitable for most skin types. With the inclusion of ingredients such as egg extract, aloe vera, green tea, and even snail mucin, even those with super sensitive skin can find an option suitable for them. Last whippy cleanser I promise! The Klairs Rich Moist Foaming Cleanser has a more lightweight texture compared to the Soon Jung cleanser and glides onto the skin effortlessly. Instead of using the foaming agent SLS which can be very irritating to the skin, Klairs uses amino acids in its formula instead to help to product lather up nicely. Additionally to the moisturizing ingredients like Hyaluronic Acid and ceramide it also contains tea tree oil which helps battle (hormonal) acne.Use as the first step of your skincare routine, or after an oil-based cleanser. P ump a small amount into your palms, and lather into a foam. We all know that aloe vera makes for the perfect ingredient to soothe irritated skin, but did you know that it also makes for a fantastic cleansing ingredient? Fragrance: The cleanser is unscented, which means it is formulated without any added synthetic fragrances. I wouldn’t say this doesn’t smell like anything. It does have the product’s natural fragrance, plastic like scent, similar to the rest of the Soon Jung Line Products and few Klairs Skincare Products. Anyhow, the fragrance is totally non-bothering and does not linger on the skin too.

Is Soon Jung cleanser good for oily skin? This bubbly cleanser is enriched with soothing Madecassoside, and skin barrier loving Panthenol to form a lightweight moisture film over the skin. Leaves skin feeling cleansed, smooth, and without any dry feeling or tightness. Would I recommend? Yes, it’s fluffy whipped foam texture is to die for. It feels so nice and comforting on the skin while cleansing the skin thoroughly at the same time. The presence of soothing Panthenol and Madecassoside is an added plus. I will recommend this for sensitive skin types. If you are comfortable with essential oils and have oily acne prone skin, I will also suggest the Kama Ayurveda Anti Acne Cleansing Foam.
