One thing I particularly want to note, I really appreciated the author's treatment of difficult topics with both a content/trigger warning at the beginning as well as just the general sensitivity in the way they were handled in the story. This story is based in the Redleg security world and Sawyer has to protect Sammy from new and past threats. The mental conversations these two have with themselves throughout the book show how comical Jackie Walker's mind is. I cannot show you any more than that, because it isn’t laid out more more than you may have seen in Wednesday’s video.The small snag, because there's always one, comes from the fact that Sawyer is the best friend of Sammy's older brother, and now her bodyguard.
