These have the best macro balance, tied with Greenbelly for the best overall. But they have fewer macros overall.Brown Rice – This protein is a great option for people with food allergies because brown rice is naturally hypoallergenic. It’s also loaded with antioxidants. Their Meal2Go bars were described as meal replacement bars that provide exactly 1/3 of your daily nutrition for six core nutrients. Maybe this was exactly what I had been looking for all along. The bars range in sugar content from 32-42 grams. The first ingredient in every flavor is tapioca syrup, and there are other sweeteners added such as honey and agave nectar. Again, the full chunks of cranberry in this just did it for me. This one has a very unique flavor, though it wasn’t my favorite. Nate agreed that he loved the cranberry bits, but the almonds tasted “a bit artificial.”

And it’s even better if it’s organic. All these sugars come from recognizable plants, aren’t genetically modified, and are easier to digest.

Ingredients: Many meal replacement bars include common household ingredients like oats, nuts, seeds, nut butter, maple syrup or honey, coconut or olive oil, eggs, and spices. You can customize recipes however you want by swapping out ingredients or adding other items like coconut flakes, chocolate chips, or dried fruit. The texture was nice and chewy without being tough like some other bars out there (e.g. RxBars). It reminded me a little of a Chewy bar, though the Greenbelly bars are denser and not as crumbly. We have a winner. This flavor combines a classic peanut butter bar taste with just the right amount of sweet and tart apricot chunks. This one seemed to crumble a bit more than the other flavors, but I had to forgive it and still award a solid 10. Nate agreed that this flavor was the better of the two he tried.

The first thought that entered my head after biting into the Cranberry/Almond bar was that it tasted quite peanutty and not very almondy.
