It is the successor from a line of leading and ground breaking Garmin zumo motorcycle sat navs including the popular Garmin zumo 660 and Garmin zumo XT models. The Garmin zumo XT2 provides spoken turn-by-turn directions through your connected helmet or headset. There’s no trace of Tilton Garage on Google or when visiting there. Houghton Garage does exist, as do the two below in this pic, but they’re more obvious thanks to the excellent live pricing when connected to the Tread app.

This feature makes it very easy to change your route due to weather, or when discovering a new point of interest. You save the route on your phone and share it wirelessly. When outside of cell service coverage, you can save to a microSD card in your XT2 and hand it to your riding partners to upload the old-fashion way. The biggest difference between the Gamin Zumo XT1 and the Zumo XT2 is the compatibility of the Tread app with the newer device, which brings with it – most notably – the Group Rides feature. Routes can be planned in the Tread app too, then shared easily to the Zumo thanks to integration of ‘Explore’ in the app. It appears Garmin is trying to streamline its external software.Another option is Drive Map Dashboard, or DMD2, though it's primarily focussed on off-road riders. This free launcher can group the apps you want together, as well as providing a huge amount of other data, and of course it can be used with controllers.
