Love the book, love the streams, and I thank the Doc for always cheering me up when I’m at my lowest in life. At the time of the ban, a Twitch spokesperson offered news outlets only a generic statement on the matter: “As is our process, we take appropriate action when we have evidence that a streamer has acted in violation of our Community Guidelines or Terms of Service. In interviews and on his comeback stream on YouTube in early August, Beahm even claimed that he still didn’t know why he’d been expelled from the service. The personality and energy of Dr DisRespect reading his words in his characters persona MADE this book. DisRespect is my all-time favorite streamer and it’s beyond cool to see him actually publish a book under his legendary character.

The Two Time’s Champions Club is an extremely loyal fanbase, something that sets him apart from most of the other streamers. Guy’s ability to portray the Doc as almost an entirely separate being from himself is truly peak acting and It’s almost reminiscent of a Bruce Wayne/Batman scenario where Guy is actually Doc’s alter ego.

Dr Disrespect is a 6-foot-8 freak of nature with a 37-inch vertical, the two-time, back-to-back 1993-94 Blockbuster Video Game Champion, and in his factual opinion, the most dominant international gaming superstar in the history of the world. It was just a matter of time before Western civilization came begging Doc to save literature by writing a memoir that reads like a vicious, muscular lion clawing his way through the rocks, roaring in anger and dominance. The ban came just months after Beahm signed a multi-year exclusivity deal with Twitch, locking him into the platform at a time when other popular streamers like Ninja and Shroud had been poached by Microsoft for its own Mixer streaming service, which was recently shut down. We’re talking eight bits of processing, a full sixty-four kilobytes of RAM with a VIC-II graphics chip. For average readers not drowning in the streaming culture, they will find a narrative that bounces in and out of possibly fictional accounts to live commentary on conversations going on with fictional people that create a choppy flow throughout the book.As I started to play my very first game of Contra, I could feel the electricity running through my body. A mercifully quick read, it's a great addition to the Two-Time superfan's collection of memorabilia, but only a marginally interesting read for the rest of us regular folks. I am a fan of the DR although I will admit I do not listen to him that much or watch his stream however I do respect the dude. So it's a perfect treat for DrDisrespect fans, though I can't speak for how well it will bode for non-fans. To me, it's rather clear that this book is primarily written for fans of DrDisrespect, myself being one who perhaps paid more for a signed edition than he should have.

Are you ready for a book with the rhythm of a sleazy '70s muscleman and the ruthlessness of a '90s serial killer?I'm also very passionate about video games, and if you watch internet streamers, you probably are too! And not cool books, like this one, which might actually be the only cool book ever, and which obviously wasn’t even written yet. I am curious if Doc actually wrote this himself, because he is such a busy guy that I would be surprised if he actually had enough time in the day for it.
