A good compilation of practices for more fully communicating with others, from non-verbal cues and being aware of baselines to noticing inconsistencies in speech and behavior. This single word indicates that most likely your boss 1) is not impulsive, 2) weighed several options, and 3) thinks things through…Action words offer insights into the way a person thinks. Although it was a very short book, it somehow evolved into laborious read for me, so the summary chapter was a nice refresher. At the moment my current favorite tv show is Criminal minds, a show that takes the viewers through a day at the behavioral analysis unit (BAU) where they read body languages and actions of a criminal to in a sense “read” them or understand why they do what they do.
