Grace: I would choose this product over similar on the market as it is a trusted brand, an easy to use product and looks good and inobtrusive on the shelf. An adorably-designed room and bath thermometer, that gives fast and accurate temperature readings, so you can make sure that your baby is in a safe environment while in the bath or when asleep. The toddler clock also has the option of having a digital clock displayed as well as the sun or star character. While the Groegg2 may not be that useful to you if your baby monitor gives you accurate room temperature readings, you may still find it handy as a general room thermometer for other rooms in your house.

Jennifer: I would probably not recommend this product to a friend or fellow mum although I feel it is a really useful and reassuring product, particularly in extreme weather spells but I cannot be sure of the accuracy of the temperature recordings. Well-known baby brand Tommee Tippee has created a useful thermometer that does double duty for both using in the nursery and at bath time. As our house is North facing the nursery gets warm easily and the master bedroom doesn't get any sun at all until very late evening, so the thermometer is great for regulating the temperature properly.It changes colour with temperature changes so you can keep your baby appropriately dressed and safe in all temperatures. In the winter when I was ill and was feeling cold as you do, it was telling me temperature was ok so didn't overheat the room but my friend hated it so got rid. You press a button on the underside of the unit to alter the brightness levels and the padded feet mean you can place the Groegg2 anywhere without surfaces getting scratched.

The Gro Clock sleep trainer is mains powered however it would be nice to have the option of batteries also for ease when travelling, camping or even just repositioning in your child’s bedroom. A: While the Groegg2 is marketed as a nursery thermometer, it can be used in other rooms of the house as well.
