Grant’s passion and desire to produce ‘the best dram in the valley’ is now an ongoing, fundamental mission of Glenfiddich. A gorgeous limited edition single malt Scotch whisky with a Japanese twist from the giants of Glenfiddich here. Malt Masters were invited to the Glenfiddich distillery and invited them to pick any expression from the thousands of casks maturing in the warehouse. In 2016 Glenfiddich introduced its Experimental Series, which has resulted in a few very popular expressions, including Winter Storm and an IPA cask-finished single malt.

Carefully matured in the finest American oak and European oak sherry casks for at least 12 years, it is mellowed in oak marrying tuns to create its sweet and subtle oak flavours.

People were working round the clock to save the casks, and as a tribute to them, the Malt Master created Snow Phoenix, marrying the rescued casks to create a limited edition single malt.
