Charging the battery until it’s full has lasted a lot longer than I expected, it says a full charge should last up to 60 minutes and I’d say that’s accurate. The Braun Series 9 Pro surprised me, and with Braun just adding the head lock switch that the Series 9 did not have has made me really like the shaver. Braun adding the option to lock the head was a significant improvement on the Series 9, and it just felt like a much more efficient and comfortable shaver.

I was pleasantly surprised, not just because Braun added the Precision Switch that was a must or the PowerCase; it performed much better. The shaver feels very high quality in your hand, it’s weighty, but in a way that inspires confidence in the product, it’s not overly bulky to handle, which is what I’ve found with previous electric razors. It’s more about how this shaver seems to clear up hair easily, and even when there are any missed patches, it clears them up without too much effort.

The Braun Series 9 Pro was a bit of a surprise as I was expecting a Series 10 to come along after the Braun Series 9. A four digit type number, which is imprinted on all Braun and powered Oral-B products, can be used to determine the appropriate part(s) for your product.
I can give this shaver a quick blow after opening up the cassette and head, then pop it into the cleaning system and get on with doing other stuff. Switch on the shaver cordless and rinse the shaver head under hot running water until all residues have been removed. It gives a close shave that any electric shaver can provide (putting the Panasonic ARC 5aside) but with great comfort and lack of irritation. It has a charging pad (QI charging pad) rather than a standard method of charging, stand, or cleaning and charging dock. Massively impressed with the cleaning station included and the charging case as well meaning being away on courses doesn't mean looking scruffy.
