The suspenseful nature of psychological thrillers: All The Dangerous Things exemplifies the captivating nature of psychological thrillers, with its intricate plot, complex characters, and unpredictable twists that keep readers engaged until the very end. As this is advertised as a thriller in every blurb and almost every review, I was hoping for something fast and high-octane. At the time, it reminded me of the stars: how two can collide and fuse into one—bigger, brighter, stronger than before. This is a gripping story of a mother looking for answers…answers to the mysteries surrounding her own troubled youth and answers to the mystery surrounding the unsettling disappearance of her son. Stacy Willingham’s masterful use of dual timelines adds intrigue and atmosphere to this compelling mystery, while her immersive writing draws readers into our protagonist’s increasingly unstable state of mind.and the reason was because Isabelle wasn’t very likeable – nor were any of the other women for that matter.

I figured it would be hard for her sophomore novel to even live up to her own high standards, much less surpass them.
Unlike another thriller I read about insomnia earlier this year that shall remain nameless, Isabelle's insomnia and how she dealt with it were handled in a REALISTIC way, which only added fuel to the fire. There’s just one problem: Isabelle can’t totally remember the facts of what happened that fateful summer, and she has reason to believe she might be implicated in the tragedy itself. At the vigil, Isabelle encounters Detective Dozier, who assures her that police officers will be present and warns her against acting impulsively. They watch some of it together and Isabelle watches some on her own and sees herself sleepwalking in Mason’s room.ONE WHOLE YEAR, since her eighteen month old toddler, was taken from his room, in the middle of the night-the window by his crib open-but neither she, nor her husband Ben, awakened by any noise. She moves about in a semiconscious dream state, opening her eyes to find herself in another place with no recollection of WHEN or HOW she got there.
