The scale was perhaps defined by the X-wing canopy component and I can certainly see why, since its shape is almost perfect, relative to the Legends tank. I would love to see Ponds in minifig form, but I doubt that would ever happen since he was only in two Clone Wars arcs excluding the Windu assassination.

Aligning the decals along it also isn’t quite as tricky as you might imagine (their white background helps), and they do a lot of heavy lifting in communicating detail not afforded by the single-piece solution.i can easily fix the texture issues on the sides, the gaps on the front and the apace for a minifig in the top hatch. I already have at least one earlier version of this tank, and didn’t find it that interesting of a vehicle back then, so…um…is that a new Mace Windu?

For stuff with a marbled look, like the original Bohrok faceplate, they inject all of the colors simultaneously, so no waiting for one color to cool before you can swap mold sections and inject the next color. If we count Mace Windu as an honorary Batman on account of his vambraces, that makes this pretty much the bestest most perfectest Prequel set ever!On the whole, yes: it’s a pretty beefy (if brief) build, and there can really be no complaints about those minifigures. The opening hatch on top is my favourite aspect of this model, presenting an accurate shape and nestling perfectly between 3x3 curved tiles. Both droids are equipped with pearl dark grey blaster rifles, differentiating their weapons from the Clone Troopers' black rifles. I would be the one complaining about wishing the set included more desirable minifigures if they had gone with the brown design from The Clone Wars' series.
