About this deal

UsurperKing As for recomendations for 3D Sonic games. Well, as I said, none of them are perfect, but there definitely fun to be had. Here's my 2 cents: For some reason, ALL of those (100ish?) comments got deleted when NintendoLife updated the story. If this was done on purpose, seems disrepectful of readers' time to just delete entire threads of discussions and comments just hours after they happened.

And yes, for those who want to point it out, I'm aware there are some minor differences between the content of playing the games separately vs combined. Its another reason why I think that option should have been given for those that want it. So yes, I'd 100% recomend Frontiers... however if you haven't played it already, it may be worth waiting untill all the free updates are released because they will be vastly improving lots of the jank & making some fundemental changes to the controls, movement, camera, etc, not just adding more content. Also, if possible, play it somewhere not on Switch, its got by far the worst performance... but its still "fine" if its your only option.I love the PS1, Saturn and N64 dearly. If you include the import scene, the Saturn is my favourite, overall (and glad to hear you knew Tomb Raider was originally going to be Saturn exclusive and made for that system! I was SO angry when Sony bought exclusivity for the sequels) but there are many N64 and PS1 games in my all time favourites lists so all of them are essential! And yeah, as a Saturn owner and starving Sonic fan for essentialy 5 years during that period, I can't overstate what a revelation Sonic Adventure was at the time. Of course I got the Dreamcast and SA on launch day and I was so, so happy. Nowadays I'm very aware of how janky it is but its still got so much charm and things to love about it. That first action stage, running across the bridge and the camera spins around while the whale smashes the bridge behind you? Its just incredible. I'll never get tired of that.

Arguably, taking over an area of Disney World is more impressive/unusual an achievement for Sega than Nintendo being in Universal... and the footprint is pretty equivalent of the size of the American one. Of course, the Universal areas are far more custom and better themed and designed to be permanent and more emersive, as if you are actually entering a Mario game. They are brilliantly done! The Sega stuff in Disney was simpler and more akin to a convention... all constantly changing exhibits of the latest arcade and home tech... but there was still a lot of theming, lifesized Sonic statues and the like, and characters to take photos with. Remake/Remaster at one point tried to mean something different, but it just became a blurry mess. It's easier and more accurate to say that Resident Evil 4 was an enhanced port. a b "『ソニックオリジンズ』6月23日発売決定。『ソニック』初期4作品のリマスターにストーリーモードなどの新要素を追加"[Sonic Origins will be released on June 23. New elements such as story mode added to remastering the first four Sonic games]. Famitsu. April 20, 2022 . Retrieved April 30, 2022.

One of the games I'm making for switch is a Metroidvania, starring Hazel Witch, the little girl with purple hair in my avatar! So I hope you will at least like that, even if its not your favourite genre... we've worked very hard to make sure people don't get lost - theres great interactive maps and she has a cute little bat that follows her around, and you can always talk to him for clues or get him to fly to where secrets are or show where you should be heading If you aren't interested, no worries. I'm not trying to argue. Just thought it might give some perspective as to why some people on both sides find it hard to understand why people like the series that they deem "obviously" superior. As for DKC style on portable... sure Blast looks hideous, but lets not pretend the Donkey Kong Land games didn't look like a muddy incomprehensible mess on the original Gameboy. 8bit systems just shouldn't use pre-rendered sprites, they don't have the colour pallette. A shame, as the level deisgn and controls of the DKL games is decent. Not a patch on Donkey Kong '94 though - again, an 8 bit game designed for the platform it was released on, and one of the best of all time IMO.
