About this deal

It has a hand pump extraction that uses ground coffee or capsules, has eight bars of pressure, and comes with a one-year warranty. It’s easy to use once you’ve gotten the hang of it, but pumping can be problematic in the beginning. To assess your claim, you will be required to provide photo and/or video evidence of the damaged product. It’s also easy to be consistent with the Picopresso. It’s a bit more forgiving when it comes to grind size and the pressure you need to exert due to its pump design. On a good day, I will even say that the shots can be compared to the Flair Classic. After a few attempts, we were achieving gorgeously smooth, rich cremas with every shot, thanks to those 18 bars of pressure forcing hot water through the coffee grinds. Overall, the Flair Classic is still the better choice as a daily driver due to its more stationary design. Still, if you want some added travel flexibility, you should consider the Picopresso. Pros & Cons

You need ground coffee, hot water and the Nanopresso. A decent view is optional but highly recommended. Please note that the Nanopresso does NOT heat the water. The Nanopresso: Small but mightyThese two models have very similar features, with only a few accessories and sizes being the difference. Here we will look at their features in a little more detail. Nanopresso

I’ve been using the Nanopresso for over 5 months now, I’d say I’ve made close to 500 espressos in that time and never experienced any issue with loss of pressure. That was until last week (over the Christmas period) I was making family members drinks and during that time I noticed that the initial pumps required to begin the extraction were increasing. And if looks are important, then there’s probably a style for you. It comes in a load of different colours, some amazing, and some, if we dare say so, not so amazing. But hey, to each their own! Who are we to judge? I’m impressed that the Wacaco Picopresso can produce such high-quality espresso even though it’s so tiny and innocent looking. Built around a patented pumping system, the Nanopresso is capable of reaching, with the help of your hands, a maximum of 18 bars (261 PSI) of stable pressure during extraction for unparalleled coffee quality. It is more than what most home espresso machines can deliver.Water above this temperature means you over dissolve these flavor compounds (unbalanced). Water below this temperature means they won’t dissolve as easily (weak). And, when you put it like that, it’s clear to see that paying attention to your water temperature might be one of the most overlooked factors in proper brewing.

Once I learn “where the edge is”, I will start using the Barrista Kit, also bought strictly on your recommendation. By providing Authority to Leave you agree that the parcel is deemed to have been received when left at your premises. If you have the wrong number of grounds in the coffee basket, the portafilter’s nozzle (the metal part) will not perfectly fit into the coffee basket. You’ll be able to tell if this is/will be an issue when you tamp your grounds. If you don’t have at least a few millimeters of space for the metal nozzle to fit snuggly intact with the grounds, you are going to have an issue. There are a few simple steps to follow to clean your Nanopresso properly. By following these steps, you avoid common issues such as mineral build up, clogging from loose grounds, and more. This means pressure is based on your physical pumping instead of a mechanical pump that can wear out over time. Some pre-grounds espresso blends are a little bit too fine for the Nanopresso. I got a bag of Costa grinds and they were a little on the fine side. It’s been a while since I bought pre-ground but if I remember correctly the Lavazza espresso is ground just right. If you really want to persist with the Illy ground coffee you could either try adding 15g instead of 16g that might help. You’ll notice that the portafilter does actually tamp the coffee deeper once it’s screwed on tightly (it sort of self tamps) So by having a gram less, it may just improve the flow. You could also remove the small silicone piece from the spring in the portafilter (non-pressurized mode) this will also help. The innovative design requires 15% less force from you than previous Minipresso models, which means portable espresso has never been easier. Now available in new colours - Arctic Blue, Chill White, Moss Green, Lava Red. Travel Case Included - Ships with a durable EVA material case with a soft fabric lining for safe travels. This product includes: Using both hands – It is recommended that both hands be used during the extraction process so that less energy and strain are taken. Brew Quality
