In Chapter 1 of the Japanese orginal version, Kirby consumes a drink with a label that reads 「酒」 which means "alcohol." This was changed in the English localization to "Loopy Juice" to avoid references to alcohol. However, the kanji character can still be seen in one panel. Marx appears as one of the rare keychains using his Kirby Super Star sprite, along with his soul form from Kirby Super Star Ultra.
