About this deal

Although Catwoman has been historically portrayed as a supervillain, Batman and Catwoman have worked together in achieving common goals and are frequently depicted as having a romantic relationship. Batman has had many romantic relationships with female characters throughout the years, but while these relationships tend to be short in duration, Batman's attraction to Catwoman is present in nearly every version and medium in which the characters appear.

Wallace, Daniel (2010). "1940s". In Dolan, Hannah (ed.). DC Comics Year By Year A Visual Chronicle. Dorling Kindersley. p.31. ISBN 978-0-7566-6742-9. The first issue of Batman's self-titled comic written by Bill Finger and drawn by Bob Kane, represented a milestone in more ways than one. With Robin now a partner to the Caped Crusader, villains needed to rise to the challenge, and this issue introduced two future legends: the Joker and Catwoman. Catwoman (vol. 2) #69 provides details about Selina's childhood and neglects Maggie's existence. Maria Kyle is a distant parent who preferred to spend her time with cats, and commits suicide when Selina is very young. Her alcoholic father, Brian, is cold to Selina for resembling her mother, whom he resents for dying, and eventually drinks himself to death. To survive, Selina takes to the streets for a time before getting caught and sent first to an orphanage, then juvenile detention center, [20] "where Selina began to see how hard the world could really be". [21] Maggie's fate at this point in the timeline is not alluded to. However, when Ed Brubaker reintroduces her into the comic, he implies that Maggie may have directly entered an orphanage and promptly been adopted.

The Last God: Tales from the Book of Ages— A sourcebook detailing the setting for use with 5th edition Dungeons & Dragons. The story and art alone is good enough that I'd love it for just that, but there's more to it. There's a true understanding of Selina Kyle, and nods to every era, from the Jim Balent purple costume to a heavy dose of the Brubaker/Cooke version, along with maybe the best interpretation of Killer Croc I've ever seen, a really wonderful use of Poison Ivy and Jason Blood/The Demon. In addition, the blossoming love story between a retired Riddler and Catwoman works so very well, and I love the story of his daughter Edie and Selina too. Batman: Beyond The White Knight— When Terry McGinnis steals the Beyond suit on behalf of Gotham Motors CEO Derek Powers, Bruce escapes from prison and enlists Jason Todd to destroy his tainted legacy once and for all. Written and drawn by Sean Gordon Murphy.

Catwoman (vol. 4) #19–24, 26, Annual (vol. 2) #1 and Batman: The Dark Knight #23.4 - Joker's DaughterVisionary creator Cliff Chiang ( Wonder Woman, Paper Girls) writes, draws, colors, and letters the story of a world without Batman, where one woman's wounds threaten to tear apart an entire city! It's an unmissable artistic statement that will change the way you see Gotham's heroes and villains forever!
