Anytime there is kids involved it is bound to get interesting. This is the perfect Christmas romance. Where better place to celebrate the festive season than in Scrooge's old stomping ground. Maybe some skimpy swim shorts in a sauna or something equally as tasteful? A nude calendar perhaps?

I agree with the review that the chemistry between the leads doesn't burn down any chem labs. There is a mystery as to why they broke up and when we get to what it is my reaction is So What. I never really did get why Lucy had a sudden personality change supposedly the last three months before she left. It's implied that maybe that's because she was pleasing Aunt Audrey, but I don't think that was covered very well.

Nobody should watch Hallmark films with massively high expectations, their Christmas output particularly. If a Hallmark fan or wanting to see as many Christmas films as possible, expectations would understandably be higher. They are very formulaic with most of them being more of the same narratively and structurally, apart from sporadic attempts at changes of pace like this film. Some are above average and more, others are average and less I always hope for big things from HMM because the Christmas movies there are supposed to be more heartwarming. This movie belonged on the regular Hallmark channel. It is a basic romance, and there is nothing special about except maybe the lead actors. I didn't say it is bad, just nothing special. While there were more popular spots, I managed to find an incredible few moments of solitude and freedom on a briefly empty piste. Imagine having this view to yourself even if just for a moment! I reached out directly to the official Zermatt Tourism Office and they responded, “Zermatt has no Christmas Market.” However, if you’re in Zermatt at the start of Decemeber, they encourage visitors to attend the Zermatt Christmas Tree Lighting. There are times where the dialogue could have been better. Parts are for my tastes on the cheesy and forced side.
