If you’re on a more powerful machine you can change the display render quality on the enhancements tab to get smoother graphics, or, as I prefer, leave them at native resolution for a more authentic console feel. Cut down the end of the plastic covering the wires about an inch down and cut off the rest of the plastic up to that point. Two options are listed here: either Wii Remote without Motion Plus Inside, or Wii Remote including Motion Plus. Normal Wii Remotes (without M+) are easier to setup with Dolphin, but they require you to buy and attach a Motion Plus add-on to your Wii Remote to play Motion Plus games. Wii Remote Plus do not require this add-on but are more complicated to setup with Dolphin. If you want to use a real GameCube controller in Dolphin, there are multiple options. There are many PC based USB adapters that allow use to use GameCube controllers as standard controllers that can be configured in Dolphin for the "Standard Controller" GameCube option and the "Emulated Wii Remote" option.

By taking over the drivers of a Bluetooth Adapter, it allows unprecedented support for Wii Remote features, including the speaker and even 3rd party Wiimotes. However it doesn't work on all bluetooth adapters, and requires some setup to work. Even though it may not be the best option anymore, the DolphinBar remains a very easy all-in-one option for Wii Remote functionality, and we still recommend it for users. The DolphinBar does not current work with Bluetooth Passthrough. Would it be as if you had a switch to switch from the usb to the AA power source? or both at once for more voltage and LEDs? Just plug it into any usb port while the device is on or that still provides power while in standby mode.

Remember the days when playing on your Nintendo Wii meant being tethered to a wired motion sensor bar? Times have changed. Wireless Wii motion sensor bars are now the norm. I think it acts as a current source without a resistor which can provide up to 100m amps from the usb. The Mayflash DolphinBar is a sensor bar in itself, a USB powered one at that. And it actually performs very well when compared to the official Nintendo sensor bar. It's as bright as official sensor bars, with angled and grouped LEDs just like them, and it doesn't turn off while you are using it. As a sensor bar, the DolphinBar is... just a good sensor bar. It's a bit of a shame to have to say this, but in the third party sensor bar market we have today that's actually a big deal. Now, about connecting your Wii console to your PC, I assume you mean you want to use Wii Remotes on your PC while playing Dolphin? To use Wii Remotes you'll need to connect them to a Bluetooth adapter on your PC. This only allows you to use the Wii Remote without the pointer. If you want to use the pointer, you'll have to get some sort of sensor bar near your PC.
