About this deal

Self Help for Your Nerves” is a good self-help book for all types of readers. “Claire Weekes” is the author of this beautiful book. This author has all the skills and knowledge to make your life better. The author does an incredible job of making the book applicable. It doesn’t do it in a step-by-step manner, but asks the questions we should be asking ourselves when we come across a choice. It creates a lot of thoughts. In this book, the author tells how we can make ourself more productive and achieve anything in life. It helps you to manage your time, business, relationships, and even life. This book goes in details on how to help cope with over thinking which can lead to numerous health problems. Anxiety can become a problem if we start worrying a lot about small stuff or relatively harmless situations. Maybe you want to take a quiz to understand your anxiety better. At other times, it might help to step away from your anxiety to understand it (see the next tip). Anxiety is usually a natural response to pressure, feeling afraid or threatened, which can show up in how we feel physically, mentally, and in how we behave. Anxiety can affect our mind, body and behaviour, for instance we might feel tearful, get stress headaches, or start avoiding things or people that trigger anxiety.

There are lots of different ways that you can support us. We're a charity and we couldn't continue our work without your help. Though anxiety is common, you can rise above it. Here are some uncommon self-help approaches to help you. If we have unhelpful thoughts and feelings, this can lead to unhelpful behaviour, which can turn into a vicious cycle of further negative thoughts and so on.Set aside a specific time to focus on your worries – so you can reassure yourself you haven't forgotten to think about them. Some people find it helps to set a timer. It’s time to close the door on stigmatizing self-help and anxiety and open the door toward taking care of ourselves unapologetically. The reason for my high rating is because I found this book to be completely different to any other self help book that I have read in the past. Often these books outline the same sort of processes so you keep being fed the same sort of information but this book seems to have a more relaxed approach to dealing with stress, anxiety and depression...and in some ways a more realistic approach. It teaches you the methods of 'floating' not 'facing', 'accepting' not 'fighting' and 'comfort' not 'conflict'. Peace of mind is possible, even in a frantic world and despite challenges. If you're experiencing emotional turmoil or anxiety, these tips can help… READ MORE

CBT is a type of psychological treatment that can help you manage your anxiety by changing negative or unhelpful thoughts and behaviour. Anxiety is common. In fact, more than 4 in 10 adults in the United States reported symptoms of depression or anxiety in 2020, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. Even still, talking about anxiety can still be challenging.A book that is short and light on information, although the information it does have for dealing with acute stress is very useful. When you’re living with a mental health problem, or supporting someone who is, access to the right information is vital. To help you regulate, try engaging your senses. For example, you can make some tea and sip it slowly. Name what you’re tasting. Hints of berry, maybe? A chance find that I read with caution - you're vulnerable and you want sound and good advice. Dr Weekes earned trust by understanding and accurately describing what it's like, then offers her advice in a kind but no nonsense tone: face, accept, float, give it time.
