About this deal

This is the part those mentioning going all Digital seems to forget- it does eat up valuable sd space. If sd became 5-10tb that be no issue but unfortunately sd limits haven't gone that far yet. And not all can afford a 1tb at current low prices even so that cuts out those that would like to get one. I got two OLED with each 1tb and now a TOTK OLED with a 1tb waiting and I'll do the same for the Switch 2/etc when it does arrive as a 2tb would not be feasible in the near future either. What are the best first-party eShop games to buy? I could rattle off dozens on 3DS and Wii U, but I'm drawing a blank for Switch.

Pretty cool designs, though I am honestly happy with my 256 GB card. I don't mind having to reinstall bigger games when I want to play them again. I will probably upgrade to a much bigger card for the next Nintendo console though. Just make sure to give it sufficient time to test sequential write speeds, since memory cards don’t do well with random write operations. If you are using a PC, CrystalDiskMark is a wonderful piece of software to test read / write speeds on any storage media. Rated A1, the SanDisk Ultra microSD card is optimized for apps, delivering faster app launch and performance that provides a better smartphone experience. SanDisk Memory Zone App for Easy File Management. Not a plug for that store specifically, I've only used them once and they were fine, but if you shop around you'll save yourself enough to buy a few games to go on the card too! Custom made and designed products such as flash memory products with custom logo’s on them. E,g USB flash drives and memory cards with your own logo

Sad to think how many uninformed people have wasted money on these thinking their Nintendo system needs to have the Nintendo-branded SD card. If the memory card you are using is fake, it will report errors and show how much actual data was written and read from the card. In the case above, I used a genuine 16 GB SanDisk Extreme Pro memory card that I retired a while ago and as you can see, the software not only showed zero errors, but also reported an average read and write speed of 70 MB/sec. If you perform a similar test and you see errors, you are dealing with a fake or a failing memory card! I understand the convenience of going all digital, especially for a hybrid system. But I will always prefer physical media for preservation and I like to collect games. The only microSD Card I could afford some time after I got my Switch was a 128GB one and it's already not enough for what I've bought.

Like the Micron C200, the only other 1TB microSD card currently on the market, the Sandisk Extreme is likely to use the company’s 96-layer 3D QLC (quad-level cell) NAND technology. It does support capabilities such as command queuing and caching but remains constrained by the UHS bus, which will pave the way to microSD Express in a not too distant future. Are you a fan of these new SD card designs? Do you own one of these special Nintendo SD cards, or did you opt for a cheaper card that still does the business? Let us know with a comment below.

You can get the same storage for a lot less with different cards. It doesn't matter what it looks like, it'll be inside the console. Unless they make a clear switch like the did with the GBA, I'd buy it day one. Comparison based on internal testing of SanDisk Extreme® microSDXC™ UHS-l card, versus current UHS-l cards with 100MB/s stated performance. Results may vary based on host device, file attributions, and other factors. The location of the serial number will vary depending on memory card type and manufacturer. If you have a SanDisk card, take a look at this article, which details the possible location of serial numbers on its storage products. Get faster app performance for an outstanding smartphone experience thanks to the SanDisk Extreme® microSD card’s A2 Specification.

Drone operators will also appreciate the fact that it can be operated during extreme weathers and temperatures. Dashcam users may want to consider a memory card with higher endurance like the SanDisk MAX Endurance series which promises to last up to 120,000 hours of recording. With capacities of up to 1TB, you can store even more hours of Full HD video on the card and still have room for the videos, photos, music, movies and other files you want to shoot, save and share. Transfer Speeds of up to 120MB/s.

Fast enough to keep up with the action.

Compatible device required. Full HD (1920x1080) and 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) support may vary based upon host device, file attributes, and other factors. See www.sandisk.com/HD
