Lavender refill will usually last between 14-45 days, depending on the environment and warmer dial settings. Because natural refills do not contain any ingredients to slow the evaporation rate, natural refills have a slightly higher evaporation rate than synthetic refills. I potted them into a plug tray, each plug being about 1 inch cubed. When the roots filled that I potted them into 7cm pots of gritty compost. During the first winter they need to be kept on the dry side, but not allowed to dry out completely, or get the root ball frozen. if you have the Stoechas type with the butterfly tops, then they are less hardy, and will not stand too much cold in the first winter.Lady Ann' is a compact variety of English lavender, growing to around 45cm in height. The flowers are pale pink and have a slight fragrance. Good for combining with purple-flowered lavenders. Lavender likes soil that is quite low in nutrients, so plants don’t generally need feeding.
