About this deal

Anyhoo, it's good news and I'll be getting the US redo from Lionsgate or if that's not forthcoming I'll get the equally ugly Steelbook but with less price and tat factor. Day Blu-ray review for a thorough plot summary. I will mention only in passing, though, that if I were to participate in the Terminator 2: Judgment Day is presented on 4K UHD courtesy of Lionsgate Films with a 2160p transfer in 2.40:1. Fans have long

Terminator 2: Judgment Day 4K Blu-ray offers decent video and superb audio in this enjoyable Blu-ray release The whole deal with Cameron, this movie, The Abyss and True Lies is genuinely approaching levels of bizarre. For all the criticisms many have long since lobbed at Lucas for his (alleged) insecurities and neuroses with the constant retooling of all things Star Wars on home video, one could never accuse him of neglect or outright disavowment. Maybe he obsessed over those movie too much his own but they always mattered to him at least. I can't for the life of me figure where Cameron's headspace is with the films in question.

what to release have been some niggling but recurrent quality issues that I personally haven't seen (or at least seen as much) in T2: Reprogramming The Terminator (480p; 54:07) is a good overview of the film, with some interesting interviews and behind the The boxsets all include the film's 3D Blu-ray presentation, Theatrical, Special Edition and Extended Special Edition cuts on Full HD BD, and feature new artwork (pictured below) from designer Tracie Ching. I *really* need an updated T2 transfer. While I still own the old two disc DVD “Ultimate Edition” release for the extras; my Blu-ray iteration of this movie is the dreadful “Skynet Edition” release which takes forever to load. Note that the German audio is DTS-HD MA 7.1. So if you're bilingual, maybe this is the one for you.

I first got T2 on laserdisc before I even had a LD player. (Roger Ebert was responsible for that). I then had at least two T2 DVD's. But I stopped there. I will never buy this movie again until video gets 5/5. I can't believe they released a sub-par UHD of this. Terminator 2: Tag Der Abrechnung – ART HAUS Exclusive 4K Ultra HD 30th Anniversary Endo Skull Germany Cameron turned his 1991 film into the best approximation of what it would look like if shot digitally todayNEW - T2: Reprogramming The Terminator documentary (including exclusive interviews with Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Cameron, Edward Furlong and many more) The 4K version of Terminator 2 didn't exactly set fans' hearts beating faster, and I in fact gave it a barely passing grade, but for those who Two-and-a-half decades since its release, T2 hasn't lost its ability to thrill. The plot still intrigues, the occasional gags still raise a smile and the T1000 still terrifies. At the same time, the fact that it softened its edges to get a ‘15' rating irks, and James Cameron's direction can at times feel oddly passive, despite the destruction happening onscreen.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day, it is arguably not just "not good", but downright bad. I've been mentioning Lionsgate's somewhat general category, steelbook collectors may be willing to overlook some of the technical deficiencies of this release just to have some admittedly luxe Blu-ray.com and Lionsgate Films are offering members a chance to win copies of Terminator 2: Judgment Day Terminator 2: Judgment Day has received several previous Blu-ray releases. Rather than rehash the by now well known plot, I refer you toThe contents of this release are the same as Lionsgate's previous 4K UHD release of the film. For those wanting my thoughts on that release, please James Cameron's classic sci-fi actioner Terminator 2: Judgment Day is widely hailed as one of the greatest action movies of all time and universally considered one of the best sequels ever made. Added to that, the film's legacy and lasting impact marks the beginning of the groundbreaking years in computer-generated imagery, heralding what would soon become a common practice in visual special effects and photography. What could have been a stunning 4K release of a modern classic has been spoiled by cost cutting and plain dumb decision making. Terminator 2: Judgment Day 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Review Previous BD releases for T2 have also suffered from digital cleanup work, so maybe this isn't unexpected, but anyone hoping for a 4K iteration of how this 35mm production will surely have looked in cinemas in 1991 will be disappointed. Extras: Language(s): English, Interactive Menu, Bonus Footage, Commentary: James Cameron (Director), William Wisher (Writer), Deleted Scenes, Documentaries: 'T2: Reprogramming the Terminator', Making of Documentary, Seamless branching of the theatrical cut, director's cut and special extended edition, Trailers
