Red Top Fly Catchers are a unique product from South Africa and are both safe and practical and easy to use. They use a non-toxic protein-based bait which lures flies through a turret into a three-litre trap from which they can’t escape. Place the trap away 10m (30ft) from the area you want to protect as it will attract flies (and catch them!) so you don’t want the flies attracted to where you are sitting or your horses are resting. Trap works best 2.4m (8ft) from the ground. Works for 12 weeks - sometimes even longer - and catches up to 20,000 flies. The Redtop should be placed about 10m (30ft) away from the area that you want to protect.
