2022 Becoming Her: For Becoming The best Version of Yourself

One of my greatest wishes is for the entirety of my thought process to be narrated - if not controlled - by Michelle Obama.

This is about learning to understand how you want to feel by how you portray yourself outwardly. This goes hand in hand with how you dress and feel inside may help with the characteristics that you may want to portray. If it means in the beginning you’ll feel like an actress, then so be it. Remember you’re the main character. The process of becoming Her is a movement that’s recently taken a hold through social media, and I want to dissect what it means.Get very specific and detailed with anything that comes to your mind of what this would mean for you ideal self. Write down all the characteristics she might have, and her belief systems. How does she talk (especially to herself)? What thoughts does she have? What are her belief systems?

We also answer a few of your most commonly asked questions and dive deep into some mindset tools for you. And I don’t mean dance or a sway in your hips when you walk… even though the latter may exude a level of confidence. What would she do? You’ve already decided on her thoughts. Based on those thoughts, what does she do? Implement that. Now do this realistically. Obviously, you don’t want to go to the car lot and ride off in a Ferrari if that’s not where you are right now (key word: right now, because you will get there). What does she spend her days doing? How does she prioritize her time?

It was beautiful, it was poignant, it made me cry in public - it had everything I could've wanted in a memoir and more. After meeting Barak and establishing a loving relationship, Michelle recognised his vision and drive, which led her to question her own highly paid legal career. She would seek something that would give her a similar meaning and purpose. Something that would go well beyond the need to secure a higher and higher salary. She changed jobs, taking massive pay cuts to find that purpose and contribution to society. She worked for non-profits, City Hall, healthcare and academia, so she could make an impact where it mattered, to heal divisions and disparities. Becoming Her means letting go of anything that wastes your time, people who are not aligned with your values, and things that are not true to your purpose.
