About this deal

On the paler end of the scale for blues and greens, the less saturated Briar Queen Chill finds itself sitting alongside Aethermatic Blue.

To some, that might contradict the idea of Contrast somewhat, but the smooth and even finish of these colours means that you can achieve an (almost) perfect layer of yellow, orange or red with just a single coat of paint.Pretty revolutionary. Note that these colours still require a white/light primer, as they are transparent like all Contrast paints. We don’t want to repeat everything here, but there is one thing I want to point out: Not all Contrast paints are the same. The current range can be roughly divided into three categories: Sigvald Burgundy is a deep, rich red paint from Citadel Colour. As a base coat, it provides a smooth, even foundation for miniature painting. Its matt finish is perfect for creating shadows and depth on miniatures, and the high-quality pigments ensure excellent coverage. This paint is an exceptional addition to any beginner’s palette and pairs well with other reds, as well as metallics and other bold colours. What armies to paint with Sigvald Burgundy Our paint scientists haven’t stopped there. White Scar is our best ever white spray paint. It applies smoothly and with absolutely no fuss, giving you the perfect foundation for painting dazzling colours – and it works particularly well with our most vibrant new Contrast paints. A supercharged alternative to Warp Lightning, Karandras Green is one of the most intense Contrast paints in the whole range.Sigvald was present in Bretonnia during the End Times, sampling the finest flesh that Parravon had to offer. He was then, to his disgust, teleported directly to Archaon at the thirteenth Everchosen's whim. He took particular insult at being paired with the Troll-king, Throgg, the assaults of Chaos upon the civilised world that followed. [5] Sigvald the Magnificent, often simply called Prince Sigvald, and known as the " Geld-Prince" and the " Prince of the Decadent Host," is amongst the most infamous of the Champions of Slaanesh and Chaos Lords in the Old World, made legend by his prowess on the battlefield and his disturbing yet angelic beauty. Though he appears to be little more than sixteen summers of age, Sigvald the Magnificent has blighted the mortal world for over three hundred years. [1a]

At Eldyra's direction, spells of concealment hid towns, waystones, and mansions from the oncoming foe. Harried and blinded, Sigvald's army was soon lost in the Cothique highlands. [2a] Not every miniature needs to be blindingly bright on the tabletop. A rich and easy-to-apply colour is the perfect accompaniment to help the vibrant models in your army stand out even more. These paints will give you reliable and resplendent results with no fuss – ideal for the core colour of an army. While the worlds of Warhammer are littered with incandescent energy weapons and boldly-coloured robes, they’re also home to pallid ghouls and ethereal entities that can discorporate in the blink of an eye. Lizzie: Like many, painting yellow has always been a challenge for me. Not any more! Imperial Fist, alongside Ironjawz Yellow and Bad Moon Yellow, provides the perfect solution to your yellow painting needs.

The sheer number of new additions to the range has totally spoiled us, and we can’t wait for you all to try them out! It’s amazing to see so many vibrant and punchy new colours, alongside some awesome subtle ones. The applications for these paints are endless. The personification of beauty on the outside, but utter moral rot within, the Geld-Prince rides at the head of an army of utterly devoted followers who would give their lives for him without a second thought. Dozens of exotic females attend to his every whim and desire, and his elite honour guard, called the Mirror Guard, bear mirrored shields so that Sigvald might bask in his own divine glory at all times. Such are the depths of Sigvald's self-obsession that he will even call his retainers to attend him with their mirrors in the midst of battle, preening and murmuring compliments to himself as men plunge into battle and die all around him. [1a] By transitioning from a wash of Bad Moon Yellow to Ironjawz Yellow and Nazdreg Yellow , and then sharply highlighting with pure White Scar , Emma’s created a reflective and gleaming appearance for the gold surfaces – even though no metallic paints were used.* James Rose The Citadel Colour experts have spent many months researching, developing, testing – and painting! – with our Shade range to find out how to make them even better than they already are. The result of all of this hard work is a total reformulation of all of the Shade paints you know and love – and the creation of seven new Shades.
