About this deal

This stand is a universal fit but if your bike has a curved swing arm, you will require bobbins before you can use thisstand. As long as you ensure that the Bobbin hooks included are fitted to your stand, the stand will be suitable for yourmotorcycle. Constructed from durable steel, with heavy duty fasteners and a base with large wheels for increased stability this a dream piece of workshop equipment. First and foremost, bikes like being stored upright. There are several models that specifically don’t like being stored for any length of time on just the side stand – the oil drains to one side and exposes the engine’s internals to air and moisture, with potential corrosion issues. The difficulty with using any cantilever type stand is that the bike wants to tip over when it is unsupported. I think that some of the reviewers have been putting their bikes up on the stand for the very first time, without the aid of a helper. This in my experience is not always a recipe for success. You can blame the stand that your bike fell over but it is not always the fault of the stand. Perhaps the manufacturer or retailer could make this point to first time users and save everyone a lot of heartache.

Lots of Triumph owners opt for the single-handed bike lift options like a 1Jac on Con Stand, which lifts the whole bike off the floor. The Triumph Tiger 800 XC usually takes M8 size bobbins, but we are unable to advice on the pitch of the thread, apologies. Hello. What is the maximum width available between the L-shaped rubber holders (inside to inside of course)? In cm if possible! Thanksyou. November 6, 2017 This is suitable for your Tiger 800, but we would always recommend using a stand with hooks and bobbins ifpossible. This stand is universal fit, however we can see no reason why this stand is not suitable for yourHonda.

Front & rear paddock stands for standard swing arms to make servicing & cleaning easier.

The cups/pads should lift your bike ok, but should you wish to fit bobbins, the necessary hooks are included with thestand. If you want a stand to last you a lifetime, you should go for a single-piece stand that locates with bobbins, then when you switch bike you can just switch the bobbins over. Or you could go for a stand that locates in the frame or swingarm pivot, like an abba stand. We can confirm that this is a universal stand which will fit your motorcycle. You will not need to install bobbins as this has a cup/padfitment.

This stand is a universal fit,but is supplied with bobbin hooks and so should be fine for yourKawasaki.Hi there, is this stand suitable for a 2018 Kawasaki Z1000SX with Kawasaki bobbins? KindRegards. March 26, 2019 With all this information, it can be difficult making a decision, especially when you have to make the correct choice for your bike. Their powerful construction makes these stands suitable for the widest possible range of applications - from lightweight to big bikes - and rear stands come with both L-shaped cups for swing arms and forks for bobbins. A compact frame construction makes them very rigid and very stable. At the same time, an elongated handle provides excellent leverage, so lifting your bike requires minimum effort.

I bought this in preference to buying the very much more expensive, OE Manufacturer, Centre Main stand for my specific bike and it works perfectly for the task I bought it for. I've given a 5* rating as for the modest price, it works properly and completely fulfilled my expectations. The stand comes with free Oxford Clean Grips. You can attach them to the stand for comfortable lifting and then attach them to your handlebar grips before starting maintenance. RiDE Magazine rated the Zero-G BEST BUY in their market review. They praised the clear instructions, finish and large wheels and declared it was the easiest stand to lift a bike with on the test. Unfortunately as this is a universal product we are not able to advise on specific fitments, apologies. Oxford list the the stand as suitable for swing arms with overall widths of260-355mm. Unfortunately this stand is not suitable for your Triumph, as the exhausts are in the way. It will work if you remove thesilencers. We see no reason why this wouldn't fit your motorcycle as the plates can be adjusted to the desiredwidth. How wide is the stand? I have a Ducati GT1000 and the distance between the outside edges of the swing arm is 37 cm. Will thisfit? November 6, 2017

Will I need to fit bobbins on a Kawasaki ninja 300 (2016 ABS model) prior to usingthis? April 2, 2019 Why? Firstly, they’re a universal stand and all you need to do is buy the correct-sized spindle for your bike. For example, a Triumph Speed Triple needs a 27.5mm adapter. While the spindle pin for a Ducati 1199 (and 1198 and later 1098) is 40mm and an 848 is 25mm. If you have a BMW you’ll need the RHS swingarm stand, not the LHS one and you’ll need a 52.9mm spindle. Will this fit a 2005 Triumph speed triple 1050. I wasn't sure if it was adjustable for width.Cheers October 6, 2018 Easy-to-use stands that make lifting a bike effortless with touches to ensure once in the air, your pride and joy is held there safely." - RiDE Magazine Best Buy
