When my bedwetting issues first started all those years ago there weren’t a whole lot of quality overnight diapers for adults available yet. There were some OKAY but there are many really great options available these days! Save money, reduce changes and the need for boosters with the almost endless capacity of MEGAMAX. Refastenable Tabs with Full Landing Zone Personally, I love the fact that there are so many different options in prints and colors! The Better Dry The NorthShore MegaMax performed strongly when it came to wet durability. It was perhaps similar to the BetterDry/Crinklz in this regard, but slightly short of the Drylife SlipSuper or NorthShore Supreme diapers. The padding on this diaper is remarkably resilient and even though the padding somewhat collapsed during the shake test, part of it still remained and did not seem to want to budge. During active wear the padding swelled quite a bit when wet but did not show significant signs of clumping or tearing when wet. It seems well constructed to stay in place and retains a degree of firmness. There were no issues with the tapes during testing, if anything they held a bit too strong because they proved difficult to remove. I feel this diaper could be well suited to active daily wear, it’s very hard to see it coming loose or the padding falling apart while active. Customers who use MEGAMAX often refer to them as a 'leak-proof' thanks to an extra-wide, extra-long core. The product also gets high marks for being one of the best overnight diapers for adults.
The NorthShore Supreme’s wet durability mirrored its dry durability. Again there was no padding tearing or clumping even with the extra weight on the padding. The structure of the diaper held out great as well, and I’ve never observed any sagging even after several wettings. The rear waistband is a nice little feature that assists with the snug fit when the padding becomes heavier. I can’t find anything to fault in this diaper for wet durability and thus another perfect score.This means I will need to wait until they become available in a medium size again before I run some tests to see if it really does absorb as much as they say it does. I do plan to do much further testing on these diapers in the future so I can collect a lot more data points to average them out. In way of good quality overnight diapers for adults, this diaper is among the top of my list! For the purpose of this post I will be reviewing and referring to the small-sized NorthShore MegaMax Diaper. However, other available sizes are listed below: The ABU PeekABU is a large diaper and presents with a clear diaper bulge at the front and rear. It has very strong tapes and a relatively snug fit, so it’s quite resistant to sagging and that does help with its profile presence. On the other hand, the printed characters on the front are anything but discrete and will be obvious if seen under clothing. I’d generally avoid wearing this diaper for going out as it will require a lot of work to conceal. The Trest Elite claims to have a 9500 mL absorbent capacity. This is substantially higher than most other diapers on the market. We cannot talk about bedwetting diapers without mentioning the Northshore Megamax. In the diaper wearing world the Northshore Megamax is highly regarded as one of the best bedwetting diapers on the market.
I’d say its absorbency level is towards the higher end of the absorbency spectrum. It’s not quite as absorbent as the Megamax but it certainly comes close. The Tranquility ATN I started using them with booster pads mainly because they have had a clumping issue for some time now. I’m not sure when it started happening but it is a problem they have had that I have overlooked for a long time now.Both diaper styles are useful for individuals who experience heavier urinary or bowel incontinence. A men's guard might be a more beneficial choice for those with light incontinence who don't need as much leak protection. That said, I wear this diaper to bed every night and nearly never have any leaks. I do however wear this diaper with a Liveanew XL booster pad that adds quite a bit of extra absorbency.
Just like the Northshore Megamax, the Supreme comes in a variety of colors. I personally love that more and more diapers are coming out with different aesthetic designs like this. The diaper, by itself, is very low quality. They say it CAN be used on its own but this is not something I can personally recommend myself. Padding Wing Dimensions (fPW x fPH x bPW x bPH): 4 cm (1.6") x 15 cm (5.9") x 10.5 cm (4.1") x 20 cm (7.9") For a lighter to moderate wetter, these diapers would do just fine. When I was in my early 20’s they still worked quite well for me.
