They offer blends designed by master perfumers such as Gino Pecontino and Steve DeMercado- who have worked on some of the best Guess colognes. The pineapple feels like a nod to Aventus by Creed. It’s an under-utilized favorite note of mine and I’m glad to see an affordable, quality representation of it here. I love niche notes like these, and it makes Festival Vibes a real option as a signature fragrance. I must share a story. I had a perfume salesperson I dealt with for years. Sadly, my salesperson left, and I met a new man. Yes, a man. This poor man didn’t know what he was getting into because he didn’t realize how fussy I was. I never walk into a drugstore knowing which perfume I’ll buy. I know which brands I love. However, I allow new scents to guide my nose each time. This spicy-sweet fragrance is daring and fresh. I sprayed it at 8 pm before I went out and I could still smell the base woods notes on myself the next morning.The sweetness makes me think it would be a little too cloying to wear in high heat, and the subtle touch of warm spice in the dry down would have me leaning more toward coolers nights as the name suggests.

It’s informal, perfect for everyday wear or casual events, day or night. Not a seductive scent, but sure to collect compliments across the board regardless. First up, the opening. It’s very sweet, to the point of coming off a little synthetic. The fruitness in the opening is sharp and overboard to the point of being offputting. Just be aware that not all Hollister scents are created equal. Wave 2, for example, is a pretty underwhelming fragrance that is overly sweet, and doesn’t project very well at all. Which Hollister cologne smells best? Nothing will engulf your senses more than my favorite from Hollister. The Hollister Festival Nite perfume is the boldest, most explosive fruity, sweet Gourmand. It takes you on a journey beyond anywhere imagined. It’s one I currently own and will buy again. However, Hollister has ten incredible perfumes on the market. Also, they have a surprising set of juicy-style fragrances.

Image by Caroline Lambert It’s the sort of fragrance you’d wear to a beach date to project rugged sexiness and sunshine confidence. SoCal speaks to masculinity that isn’t aggressive, but still knows how to handle itself. The scent opens with a blast of coconut and melon. These watery sweet notes are delicious, and let you know this is an easy-going fragrance right from the jump. There’s also a touch of citrus in the top notes that I can’t quite place- but it’s either lemon or lime. Only Hollister can pull it off a third time. Wow, another perfume impresses me with only three ingredients. I imagine tasting these perfumes when I realize what notes are in them. I haven’t touched this one in person, but I would love to revisit poor old Sibusiso this weekend. I must smell this beauty in person. Fortunately, I can imagine the brand’s evolution and notes. It’s youthful and fun-loving, but not juvenile by any stretch. Think “white t-shirt and shorts” sort of vibe- but the guy is a chiseled surfer.

It’s for the sort of man who has got his act together, and achieved some success – but is still innovative and thinking outside the box. Free Wave comes from the same range as my ocean-beaten bottle. This range has tropical notes, but Free Wave doesn’t smell too tropical or evolve that way. Instead, it has a refreshing sensory kiss that follows a beautiful marriage of sweet and fruity notes. I’d love to try this perfume, and have smelled it in stores. Somehow, the musk doesn’t smell traditional, either. The combination of rugged driftwood with that decadent vanilla accord offers just the right amount of sweetness. It balances the blend in a way that’s both musky and sensual. Midnight Falls isn’t part of a range like Co Cal and Pure Cali. Instead, it’s a perfume in its own right. This perfume touches those beautifully classic florals that suit anyone with a traditional feminine soul. The bottle has little to look at, but the fragrance makes up for any loss. The florals have a sweet undertone to make me love it enough. Some of my favorites, like Jake and Wave, smell as though they could cost 2 or 3 times as much as they actually were, and comfortably compete with mid-range brands like Calvin Klein and Hugo Boss for me.An impressive longevity of 6 – 7 hours means Festival Nite will carry you through a day at college or a night at the bar. Just be aware that while it isn’t going to offend anyone, it probably won’t impress them either. Top Notes: The opening is a dash of sharp, zingy citrus – like a twist of lime in soda water. It’s energizing and invigorating and screams sunshine. But underneath it all, you have got a rugged and earthy undertone of beach driftwood.

The potent age accord is really what drives the train. I think that without it, Coastline could come off as a generic fruity, woody scent. But then again, “if ifs and buts were beer and nuts, life would be a grand old party”.Festival Nite left an impression deep enough to last years. I just started a bottle, and it sends my knees into a jelly state each time those opening notes hit my nose. I smell the overpowering caramel, vanilla, fruit, and sweet blend that almost debilitates my senses before drying into a softer, powdery aroma on my skin.
