Two RCTs reported a decrease of depressive symptoms in patients that received the ICU diary [ 9, 11]. Nielsen et al. [ 12] and Garrouste-Orgeas et al. [ 28] did not report HADS score as a continuous variable. Garrouste-Orgeas et al. [ 13] did not find any difference between the groups. Fukuda et al.
