About this deal

Noah York is used to always being in control. His character already managed to intrigue me in the previous parts of the series, so I was very curious to find out more about him and the many mysteries he seemed to keep. He's the perfect type of alpha male, he's a rich, powerful hotel owner with a past full of fighting and killing. Even though, he's left that world behind, he's still the same calculated fighter with a lethal instinct. Especially when the things or persons closest to him are being threatened. If there's one person who'd to be able to protect Claire, it's supposed to be Noah... You're going on your honeymoon?" I look over at her. "Alone." "No." She giggles, and I know that she's drunk. "I'm not going alone, silly." She continues giggling and leans over and bops my nose. "I'm taking you with me." There were a few good aspects and surprises that developed between Shelby and Ace but I wished there was more. I wanted more of their history as friends and this underlying attraction. It just seemed like it was instant and almost by default. There was plenty of spice that people would enjoy but I just felt so disconnected with the characters that it was hard to enjoy that. Emma who is the girl next door, literally speaking, is also a hidden secret of Colt’s. But, when the composition starts getting out of hand, she takes control to shut it down. Treating them like she does her preschoolers. Reece to great offense to her methods.

Ace was the perfect book boyfriend. I loved him before I even got his pov. His love for Shelby was so obvious and I really felt for him when he was the only one who didn’t know what was going to happen during Shelby’s vows. I loved the way he cared for Shelby while going through his own pain. Needing to escape Shelby and Ace decide to go on the honeymoon that has already been booked. Exploring Turks and Caicos, lines will be crossed and walls will crumble and what follows is passionate and intense. As feelings also become involved, will they take a chance on love together?Noah is rich and successful, but beneath his expensive suit he is a man with a dark past and even darker secrets.

This third book in the series is about Noah and Claire. They met in the second book during the height of Skye and Trace's....drama. Claire had a horrible past. And she's been literally running from it every since. Noah has the same past as Trace, except he had a fatal drama go down that was different than Claire's but somewhat ties them to one another of sorts. Noah has spent his time sleeping only with woman after woman and never caring about any of them, but immediately he knows Claire is different. Claire feels the same about Noah, but knows he's dangerous and she's done dangerous before and is still trying to get away from it. Now, with Noah's invitation to come to him for help if she ever needed it, Claire arrives in New York in a last ditch effort to get a job and live her life, for what it's worth. Her ex's family has blamed her for his incarceration and mental instability, and they are a powerful family capable of ruining any chances Claire ever has at a normal life. But they can't ruin her job with Noah...this man's been waiting for Claire to come to him for the last six months. But he wants more from her than her employment. He just wants her. And he intends to have her. Also, the reason Ace and Shelby got separated for a week is utterly Shelby's stupidity. I hated her at that point when she did what she did. I don't like people who care about what people would say and put themselves in second place. People will always talk. Why don't you just cherish what you have? Whose opinion is more important than your own happiness? Ace and Shelby had crazy chemistry. It was clear from the beginning they were made for each other. They knew more about both each than the persons with whom they were in a relationship. Emma never told her best friend about her long-time crush on Colt, or about the summer when that crash had developed into a secret relationship. Now a local business owner, Emma is once again swept away by those feelings even though she fights it because she knows he is leaving again. Soon. It’s great that this story is told from dual points of view because it enables us to understand what each of the main characters is thinking about, worrying about, and hoping for throughout the story. When Colt and Emma give in to their mutual attraction, every bit of the steamy passion from when they were teenagers is still there, and now it’s incredibly intensified. But the problem remains that she loves their small town, and he still loves his big life. Claire Kramer has been leading a life on the run. As a teen, she feel in love with the wrong guy. He was charismatic and his family was wealthy and influential. When things went terribly wrong, Claire ended up feeling guilty for the devastation her romance left behind. Despite the fact that her ex was behind bars, she found herself being stalked by someone on the outside. Claire finds herself in danger and she ends up at the doorstep of Noah York looking for a job.

What happens later is that Shelby doesn't want to go on her honeymoon alone and invites her best friend Ace and he accepts the offer. Shelby Baker had come to the venue early since she worked there. However, Joseph Romano was supposed to be at the wedding rehearsal at five it’s way beyond that, and, Joseph is MIA. Not something the bride wants to hear, the day before, or the day of the wedding. So, when they say don’t freak out, guess what she freaks out. Mila Everson made her living stealing from people. First it was for necessity, then she got good at it and made a name for herself. She is good and has never been caught. Her next job was at the Montagna family’s safe house unbeknownst to her. As the new head of the family, Jon could not let this act go unpunished. Mila’s punishment took place in front of Jon’s men. A lesson had to be taught. Of course shortly after the book starts bodies start dropping like flies. And they all point to Noah and/or Claire being the possible killers. Noah has decided he will protect Claire at all costs.

Claire has never let herself get close to anyone before, but when she tries to keep Noah at arms length, Noah shows her that, he isn't one to be easily swayed. She finally allows him into her heart, but enemies from her past will not allow her to be happy. You are talented, I give you that. Even with all the resources at my disposal, it took several days to figure out your identity and several more to figure out where you’d gone after you stole from me. To be honest, I’m surprised that you had the balls to stay in my city after that,” he said calmly, but there was a dangerous undertone to his voice that hadn’t been there before. ~Jon I just found myself a new Romantic Suspense author that I will be devouring her books! This was such a great read. Shelby was not in a festive mood. Even though her mom, went all out having the spa day, brought it to their home. She went straight to her old room to figure things out. When the girls joined her. That's when a text came in that would change her world. With the help of family, all the characters took their place. So, tea up, chunky monkey it will be bumpy. No one would be the wiser with the performance the three girls were giving. That's exactly what they need to pull it off at just the right time. Unparalleled sex that rides the line of erotic but never manages to cross...just barely staying mainstream. Eden is really talented about using exactly the right words to be super hot and titillating but never over the top. She uses sex to bring her couple together both physically and emotionally, and she utilizes it throughout the story, not just thrown in as a romance genre duty. Sex and seduction are a tool of her trade, and she wields them to perfection!

Claire needs a break. From life! Having nowhere and no one else to go to she grabs the only choice she has, Noah. Noah has been waiting a long time for Claire to come to him and now that he's got her, he's not willing to let her go! Determined to start her life anew Claire is eager to try playing the game called "Life" again. But her past won't let her... The wedding scene at the beginning of the book was terrific. It really was very good. Actually, the book can be read for that scene alone. I even made my husband read that part and he also didn't see it coming 🤗👍 Jon knew as soon as he saw Mila on the video footage she was his. His to keep, his to protect, his to punish and his to please. Mila has never had anyone who cared about her, who wanted to protect her. Mila felt an instant connection with Jon. Confusion clouds her mind as her body reacts to the punishment and embarrassment in ways she never thought was possible. He instantly becomes protective of Claire and he wants to help her..He usually gets what he wants and moves on.But, he can't seem to do that with Claire, he finds himself only wants her more....
