The Teigu were created on the instruction of the First Emperor, who feared that the Empire he had founded would eventually fall. To prevent this, he gathered many materials and hired many scientists throughout the world to make strong weapons and defenses. The creation of the Teigu are the result of their efforts. There were 48 Teigu in all, but almost half of them were lost during a civil war about five centuries before the start of the story. Produced by White Fox Studios as 24 episode series, Akame ga Kill! is the anime adaptation of an unfinished manga that follows the exploits of an assassination group looking to overthrow the corrupt empire. While it doesn't even have good writing or the proper foundations, there is no denying that this show takes its audience for a wild ride that is filled with bloodshed and explosions. But when you look a little bit deeper Akame ga Kill is actually pretty similar to other stereotypical shounens. You have characters always blurting out the obvious. You have the naive yet strong protagonist that powers up over time. You have almost all of the female characters fall for the protagonist. Akame ga Kill tries to be different show with it's dark theme, but looking at it closer there isn't much difference.When Budo battled Tatsumi after Incursio evolved, he notes Incursio's progress and realizes that his opponent may have done the impossible by fusing with his Teigu. They leave their village in hopes of finding money, but after they got separated by bandits, Aria invited them to stay in her house, but they were drugged and Aria brutally tortures Sayo to death, But she kept her strong will until the very end. Her corpse was found by Tatsumi and Night Raid. Once Aria goes on a cold-blooded berserk rant over how she murdered Sayo over her beautiful hair, Her death was avenged by an enraged Tatsumi as he kills Aria by slicing her in the stomach. The Three Beasts ( 三獣士, Sanjūshi ) are elite Teigu users serving Esdeath, having assisted her during her campaign to end rebellion in the northern lands while burying a whole rebel village and its occupants in ice. When Esdeath came to the capital to deal with Night Raid, she loaned the Three Beasts to Honest to help him remove the last of his political rivals. But the Three Beasts meet their end when they attempt to kill Tatsumi and Bulat, Esdeath paying her final respects to them while dismissing their deaths as signs of weakness. The First Emperor who spearheaded the project called forth and hired various artisans, engineers, scientist, alchemists and even mystics in creating the 48 Teigu and, as such, each weapon was, presumably, uniquely constructed in its own unique process due to the sheer number of creators gathered by the Emperor, who also commissioned and tasked his imperial armies with the task of locating and acquiring several rare materials for the weapons' creation. ISBN 978-0-316-34002-1 (in English) Budo was shown to hold the belief that the soldiers of the Empire shouldn't be fighting each other and instead save their efforts to defeat the rebels, as shown when Wave didn't want to stop beating Syura, despite being declared the winner of the duel, Budo punched him and angrily scolded him, but then smiled as he was leaving while saying that they are both strong and should focus on stopping the rebellion instead of fighting each other. In the anime, Shambhala displayed the ability to teleport the user in rapid succession as long as the user had been to that location before. Its Trump Card was also revealed to teleport its target into an alternate space.

After certain events he is recruited by Night Raid, A group of assassins that wish to overthrow the government and end this corruption. Recruited along with her older sister Akame by the Empire, the two are separated into different assassination divisions. Kurome ( 黒女) eventually gains notoriety as a cruel, inhumane assassin. [ ch.3] Kurome was initially subjected to harsh treatment while forcefully administered experimental dopant drugs that enhance her abilities, developing an addiction as they are disguised as sweets. Her Teigu, "March of the Dead: Yatsufusa" ( 死者行軍 八房, Shisha Yakōgun: Yatsufusa), is a katana that turns her victims into mute zombies; she can control up to eight creatures, including Danger Beasts, who can also use the skills they acquired when they were alive. Her powers are permanently restricted in a failed assassination attempt by Chelsea, and in a final duel with her sister Akame she is almost killed. Wave eventually rescues her, and the two agree to defect from the Empire by faking their deaths.
