Rather than making a cap (like everyone else) that doesn't work, Pro-Dec set about a radical re-design:

Safety: Cover sharp or protruding screw heads to reduce the risk of injury, making them suitable for childproofing and safety enhancements. Ensure you are using the correct-sized Snap-Cap for the fixing. Some imported fixings may not conform to British or EU standards, and the heads of the fixings may be up to 40% oversized Goods received in next days post and sales staff were helpful and friendly. Would use this company again.

You are not using the correct technique to fit the Cap to the Washer. Because Snap-Caps are designed and moulded to very fine tolerances, the caps cannot be pushed on "flat". Do NOT hit Caps with a hammer (or similar) - it will cause the Caps to split The fixings you are using are too large for the Washer. This prevents the Washer from flexing as the Cap is being pushed on. This only works if the screw’s drive recess is close to tolerance. In practice, on a #8 countersunk screw, tolerances can vary by 20% (even more on some imported screws), so normal ‘Pozi’ caps will (more often than not) be too loose or too tight. The Pro-Dec Solution
