About this deal

Control everything that happens in your park, from what your animals eat to what eats your animals... However, they’re not just mindless wallets on legs. Visitors need toilets, bins (if you don’t want litter everywhere) and they want to see that the animals are cared for. Also, if you want them to stay, the zoo needs decorations and, for late evening opening, decent lighting. All of this uses electricity and there’s a need to be ecologically responsible, so you might want to build wind-based electricity generators and pump your own water. Learn all about your new charges and build environments perfect for their needs, from dense, lush forests to craggy volcanic peaks. If you'd rather your guests could get up close and personal there are brand new all-glass panels, as well as natural brush fencing! Let's Build a Zoo is going deep. Aquarium Odyssey is a sprawling, fintastic content overload coming to the game later this year, adding an a-trout-cious amount of new aquatic creatures, and a full new story campaign that'll be kraken you up for 20+ hours! At first we were trying to get established and then it became about being efficient. Some ten hours in, we wanted the PSC Zoo to be symmetrical. But then we wanted the enclosures to be bigger and grouped by type (you’ve got grass, concrete, desert, tropical, ice and so on for different types of animal) and so the entire layout started to change. We invested heavily in transport, upping our visitor numbers but also our CO2 usage. So then it was about researching bigger and better buses. And so on. The game lets you edit, move and redraw enclosures easily, so toying around with your layout becomes a constant thing.

There's no release date for Let's Build a Zoo's paid Aquarium Odyssey expansion just yet, but it's said to be coming to PlayStation, Xbox, Switch, and PC "later this year".Escape to a brand new DINOSAUR ISLAND and discover a world of prehistoric beasts. Start a brand new zoo complete with terrifying (and adorable!) creatures, brand new themed shops and a whole host of new decorations to give your guests the ultimate dinosaur experience! Construct and decorate enclosures, buy and breed animals, hire zookeepers and vets... then try your hand at DNA splicing, and stitch together over 300,000 different types of animal. This can only go smoothly...

b]It's time to build a zoo![/b] Let out your wild side, and create your own animal empire with this cute, expansive management sim. Import and breed rare creatures, hire the right staff, keep your visitors happy, and deal with plenty of weird and wonderful events. Then try your hand at DNA Splicing, and stitch together over 300,000 different types of animal, ranging from the majestic Giraffephant to the peaceful PandOwl!

Anyone with even a small amount of ADD might find this to be a struggle. I found it to be too much to handle and avoid this game like the plague now. Using a script or add-on that scans GameFAQs for box and screen images (such as an emulator front-end), while overloading our search engine

The Switch port of Let’s Build a Zoo is very similar to the original PC version, though the Joy-Con controls aren’t quite as intuitive as a keyboard and mouse. At times the cursor got lost in the chaotic mess of bouncing rabbits that our zoo became, even with its rainbow trail on the screen. Other controls, such as bringing up the radial menu with 'ZL' were easy to navigate and soon became our preferred way to investigate issues with our zoo. Overall, these small issues with the game’s controls were largely balanced out by the fun of seeing our animal kingdom expand over time. Don’t let Let’s Build A Zoo's appearance fool you. It has the gorgeous pixel art and presentation of a classic tycoon game, as well as all the simulation aspects you’d ever want. But buried under that business management exterior is a game equally interested in exploring moral choices, and one that leaves me thankful it pauses before I have to make a decision. Visually, the game uses a 16-bit visual style and while we’re usually not huge fans of this, it’s the best way to convey all the visual info you need. We still maintain that the original Civilization is the best one because the 2D pixel visuals make everything clearer and that’s the case here. There’s an absolute torrent of visual information to deal with and so doing this in isometric 3D or full 3D wouldn’t have worked. And yeah, the music is a little annoying but this is more of a ‘put on a podcast’ kind of game anyway. Let’s Build a Zoo, now available on consoles, is a lot of fun. But can you share the zookeeping shenanigans? Does it have multiplayer or co-op mode? Here I've been asked if I want to return someone's lost dog, or steal it and dress it as a lion for fun and profit. It's time to Build a Zoo," reads the press release. "Construct and decorate enclosures, buy and breed animals, hire zookeepers and vets... then try your hand at DNA splicing, and stitch together over 500,000 different types of animal. This can only go smoothly..." I was unsure what Let’s Build A Zoo would bring to the table. I know I had seen it in various places and seen others talking about it. But I didn’t know if it was the game for me. However, I really enjoyed my time in the game. There are obviously tasks and targets to hit, however unlike the usual sim titles. It didn’t feel stressful trying to hit these targets. Don’t get me wrong as your zoo grows you sometimes have to look twice to figure out what to do next. However, there were no frustrations to be had. It is a game that could be enjoyed by anyone and I highly recommend it if you need a little you time away from an FPS. I award Let’s Build A Zoo a Thumb Culture Gold Award!
