The Sette Series is designed with a small footprint (like our other models) that fits under standard kitchen cabinets. The Baratza Virtuoso+ does have a wider grinding range, and can go from a proper espresso grind all the way up to a press pot (1200um) grind; the Sette 30 can’t touch press pot grinding. It’s speed is a lot slower however; the Sette 30 is easily 2.5x faster than the Virtuoso+ when grinding equal amounts.

Cleaning the burrs couldn’t be much simpler. You can take off the hopper from the top of the device and take out the burr set. To do this, twist it all the way coarse and a little further, then the burrs will fall into your hands. A brush will suffice for removing build-ups of oil or dust. The Sette 270 is mid-priced for consumer grinders. It is more expensive than certain popular conical burr grinders, including the Breville Smart Grinder Pro. However, it is cheaper than espresso grinders that have larger flat burrs – for example, grinders in the Eureka Mignon series.
