I use my InkJoy 700RT pens in blue and red daily and love them. Why can't I get refills? Will another brand of refill work? Hi, Jenn. Refills for Paper Mate InkJoy 700RT Retractable Ballpoint Pens are no longer available. In designing and manufacturing of an effective pen, there is a delicate balance between the reservoir, tip, ink supply, and container. Unfortunately, some part of the process wears down through usage and becomes an unsatisfactory product if it were to be refilled. Nonetheless, we entirely understand your environmental concerns. With the Paper Mate InkJoy, you can get gel pens in sizes 0.5mm or 0.7 mm, with both capped and retractable varieties. The gel pens come in eleven different vibrant colors. These ultra-fine felt tip pins create thin, precise lines but don’t bleed through. These pens in particular are ideal for planners since you can write smaller-sized words with them.
