About this deal

Color Weakness Mode: Adapts the screen colors for people who can't distinguish between green and red. The most widely used panels are those with 6, 8, and 10 bits for each of the RGB components of the pixel. They provide 18-, 24-, and 30-bit color, respectively. Information about the brightness of the screen. It is measured in candela per square metre (cd/m²). Unfortunately, this display does not have the best monitor panel currently available. The VA panel strikes a balance between the IPS’s wide viewing angle, high image quality, and the TN’s low cost.

The percentage of the approximate area, taken by the active part of the screen, to the total front area. For other dimensions see pictures below. Units are in centimeters. Please convert to doughnut-per-bald-eagle yourself). There are various panel technologies. Each has its own specific features - viewing angles, color reproduction, response time, brightness/contrast, production cost, etc. The image quality depends directly on the type of the display panel used. I was not able to find out which LCD panel it is. According to https://www.tftcentral.co.uk/articles/monitor_panel_parts.htm Information about whether the stand can be dismounted. Usually, this is required for wall mounting.

Less Blue, Improved Visual Comfort

I've been an happy 29" UW users for a year now and I've decided that's time to upgrade my second monitor too, and this time I'd like to go even bigger. I've spent some times looking at different 34-35 monitors, felt in love with the LG 34gn850 but I feel it would be a little too much for my needs. I'm a musician, but I'm also a gamer. Not a pro gamer but I won't say I'm a casual either. I play at 75hz now but I think I could appreciate an higher refresh rate, but I don't play SERIOUS competitive, therefore I thought that maybe a 100hz panel could be enough for me. Samsung is a bunch of c**ts and they purposely limit the resolution to FHD. You can workaround this problem by rooting the phone and change some configs. It is solely marketing limitation. More on this here: https://r1.community.samsung.com/t5/samsung-dex/resolutions-and-devices/m-p/7246511#M208 or in r/SamsungDex With that, and the ultrawide design, we may conclude that this is more of a working monitor than a gaming monitor, but you still get the smoothness of 100hz to play your casual games. Conclusion: It is too early to confirm the screen does not use the PWM for the brightness control but likely it does not. I will try to improve the probe.

While you won’t get the same level of accuracy with this panel as you would with an IPS, the VA of this one is comparable to some low-end IPS. I forgot to add that speakers are very decent for an LCD screen. I am definitely happy they're there. Approximate diagonal size of the display. If the manufacturer does not provide such information, the diagonal is calculated from the width and height of the screen. The operating humidity shows the acceptable level of humidity, in which the display will function flawlessly. It sets a lower and an upper humidity level for safe operation and is measured in percentage. This was a wise decision, particularly considering the LG 35WN65C-B‘s resolution (3440 x 1440), which, depending on the game, may require a lot of graphics card power to pass the 100FPS mark. Response time The ratio between the horizontal and the vertical side of the display. Some of the standard and widely used aspect ratios are 4:3, 5:4, 16:9 and 16:10. When it comes to LG ultrawide displays, the only major design variations are between the Ultragear versions, which have a half triangular stand while the others, including this one, holds a half-circular stand.

The static contrast shows the ratio between the brightest and the darkest color, which the display can reproduce simultaneously, for example, within one and the same frame/scene.Information about the maximum amount of time, in which the pixels change from one color to another. Desktop monitors and smart TVs experience a latency/lag in visualizing the information. The time in milliseconds that the display needs to visualize the signal input. The ultrawide monitor has grown in popularity as the homeworking has become more prevalent in these quarantine seasons. Those who need a large display size for multitasking without fear of running out of screen space will benefit from an ultrawide monitor. Also, when it comes to an ultrawide monitor, you won’t have a pretty thin display as well. The LG 35WN65C-B is a relatively big monitor with 35 “, precisely 14.67 x 32.74 x 3.7 inches, 8.3 kg with stand and 6.6 without. Besides, this monitor features high-quality speakers with better than average audio (7W Stereo Speakers with MaxxAudio). The operating temperature shows the safe temperature range (from minimum to maximum), within which the display will function flawlessly. Outside this range it might operate improperly and/or fail entirely.

Yesterday, I tried an old USB2.0 hub. It did not work when plugged to the LCD screen. The laptop did not recognize the hub. It worked in the laptop. While 100hz does not have the same level of smoothness as 144hz, it is still very smooth, so if you want an ultrawide monitor that can also play games, this should be on your list.
