About this deal

This was pretty awesome. It had been a while since I had read a pirate story and that sure was a good one. I really felt for Marianne from the very beginning, she was so layered and captivating. The plot was really great. Once I started, I couldn't put it down. I was really enthralled by the whole thing. The only thing I didn't love was the romance, and still it was okay. Anyway, I also loved the side characters, especially Grace.

Serpent's Tail Classics

Marianne has been training to be the Viper for her entire life - to serve and protect the King and the citizens of The Twelve Isles - but to become the Viper and protect the islands she loves she must find the strength to defeat her father.

I'm looking forward to the next book and seeing where Marianne goes next on her journey. I hope its as fun an adventure as this one!! Nearly two decades later, true-crime author Amanda Bailey is writing a book on the Angels. The Alperton baby has turned eighteen and can finally be interviewed; if Amanda can find them, it will be the true-crime scoop of the year, and will save her flagging career. But rival author Oliver Menzies is just as smart, better connected, and is also on the baby's trail. She was born to protect the islands. But can she fight for them if it means losing her family, her home, the boy she loves - and perhaps even her life?Based on the latest technical specifications from key industry organisations, the ViperGas Domestic Natural Gas Handbook is designed to support ACS training and when coupled with the ViperGas range of ACS preparationworkbooks, a route to assessment. I love Bex Hogan's debut novel and the adventure it took me on. The world she has created was interesting and well crafted, each island with its own personality, and landscape. The story itself took enough twists and turns to keep you guessing, and there was plenty of piratey gore to add a bit of horror to the read. Takže z neotřelé young adult fantasy to sklouzávalo k dosti tuctové záležitosti, což mě osobně velmi mrzelo. Jinak jsem pořád u Zmije měla pocit, že mi to v některých aspektech připomíná jinou konkrétní knížku, a pak mi to došlo - Kletbu vítězů od Marie Rutkoski. A upřímně si myslím, že pokud se vám líbila Kestrel, nadchne vás i Marianne. Obě knížky mají i podobnou atmosféru. Tak to zkuste a uvidíte sami. J. R. Ward will always be one of my favorite authors, and while my tastes have shifted over the years I still find so much enjoyment in revisiting the incredible world she’s created. (Especially listening to Jim narrate it, which I have come to love too.)

Así es como Kane se convertirá en la Víbora, recuperará su cuerpo y partirá de nuevo hacia el hospital abandonado, para rescatar a Nadya. As Amanda and Oliver are forced to collaborate, they realise that what everyone thinks they know about the Angels is wrong. The truth is something much darker and stranger than they'd ever imagined. And the story of the Alperton Angels is far from over. Estrellitas. Una sorpresita de novela, lo cierto es que la Ward se está currando la serie del Campamento de Prisioneros.

Christmas Cards & Gift Wrap

This spin off series is no different, I’ve really enjoyed meeting new creatures in her world and I love the tie ins from the OG series and with the Lair of the Wolven series — I’ve seen some people b!tch that V has gone soft but seriously the dude has been through so much shit, can we please allow him that little bit of softness? His caring for Payne, for Butch, for Jane isn’t weakness and doesn’t detract from his badassness. I loved their role in this one, I won’t spoil the details but it was, in my opinion, a great way to honor V & Payne’s past and show their growth.
