About this deal

In addition to this, the Sergeant also has the “spend an Action Point to gain a Command Point” Strategise Unique Action like the other Sergeants in the kill team, and like the rest of the Incursors, he also has a good Combat Blade for melee combat.

Free actions can only be performed when another rule specifies. Each time an operative would perform a free action, the following rules apply. This is the standard area damage frag grenade, like those available to many other kill teams. Good for hitting multiple low wound enemy operatives. Krak Grenade If you’re up against a Kill Team that relies heavily on Cover and being Obscured (if, for example, it has bad Save characteristics), the Incursors are really great for effectively removing Cover as a tool from your opponent’s tool box. Incursor Warrior (5 per Kill Team) This is just the beginning of a new season of Kill Team – there’s loads more to come in the short and medium term. Elucidian Starstriders As always, these Shadow Operations missions can be stitched together into an atmospheric campaign to determine the fate of Moroch – and with it, that of the Imperium Nihilus itself.

Thundercloud: We’ve finally got marines. Maybe not the marines we wanted, but are they the marines we deserved? Here we get a number of clarifications on how to interact with Kill Zone: Gallowdark, especially when it comes to Walls. First off, operatives may never move through walls, period. Wyrnblade and Kommandos players will not be especially happy with this decision because it once again utterly invalidates certain ploys and abilities. Without any sort of replacement this is a blow to Wyrmblade, Kommandos, and Navy Breachers. After having played many Into The Dark missions I am unsure if these abilities would be as game breaking as people fear if you put the same scoring restrictions on them that I mentioned for ploys that allow operatives to be set up outside your Drop Zone. This versatile kit allows you to build miniatures that can be used as Phobos Strike Team operatives in games of Kill Team or fielded in games of Warhammer 40,000 as either Incursors or Infiltrators. The kit also includes a massive assortment of weapons, heads, and accessories to build specialists like the Voxbreaker, Saboteur, Helix Adept, and Marksman.

However you are unlikely to have this model in your kill team, as you have the option of more than five specialists, and Infiltrator specialists start with these stats as a baseline, and add additional abilities on top. Incursors have this ability that changes how their Line of Sight is determined when choosing enemy targets. Enemy targets have to be 2 Circle/2 inches from an Obscuring terrain feature rather than 1, and smoke has no effect, when determining whether they’re within Line of Sight for an Incursor. TL;DR: The Incursors can see through walls! SaboteursThere is a Saboteur (which unfortunately got into a minor varnishing accident), a Reiver Sergeant, a Helix Adept, a Saboteur, and Infiltrator Veteran, and a Marksman to cover the minimum number of operatives. I might add a few more models over time to add more variety to my roster. Painting Raven Guard Do you really want to play Space Marines in Kill Team, but still want your friends to like you? Do you really wish you could find a use for your Reiver models? Do you like playing the game on hard mode? Then the Phobos Strike Team may be for you! In this article we’ll dive into how the teams are constructed, how they play, and how you can make the most of them. Phobos Strike Teams

TheArmorOfContempt: A clear attempt to give players more incentive to play Rubric Marines over Tzaangors, now you can take 3 Sorcerers and 3 Rubrics and the later can operate similarly to their flesh-and-blood counterparts thanks to double shooting, while not having to be completely attached at the hip. It is unclear if this will become the primary method of play, but at least makes it a better option for thousand sons players who simply enjoy their dusty boys more than their beastmen. This is in line with the previous commentary concerning protecting operatives being hit by Blast and Torrent weapons. Void-Dancers and Wyrmblade – Previous Rules Errata and Commentary have been annotated to show they apply to both the White Dwarf and Kill Team Annual entries. Thundercloud: It feels like you can’t re-roll a re-roll should just be a blanket rule, because there’ll be other edge cases like this come up and this way people know not to try it.During that activation, a friendly NOVITIATE operative with the Staunch specialism performed a mission action. Phobos Strike teams got a number of changes, most of which are buffs and make a team that was already pretty nasty even more deadly, with a bit more variety likely to occur. Errata: Helix Adepts can’t revive themselves

The Phobos Strike Team gets a small buff in the form of a new Strategic Ploy that can buff their weapons in certain circumstances:Jazz up your ash wastes showdowns with this incredibly modular Thatos Pattern Hab Module. You can build an entire outlands settlement by combining these with the platforms and walkways kit below, and it’s also compatible with the Sector Mechanicus kits. It’s perfect protection from the many nasty weather conditions out there in the wastes. Thatos Pattern Extended Hab Module The Reiver Sergeant is a real “lead from the front” kind of Leader, and the only real downside to taking him is that his model, like the other Reiver operative, isn’t in the dedicated Kill Team box for the Phobos Strike Team kill Team. Reiver Warrior (5 per Kill Team) The operative would still count as performing the action for all rules purposes. For example, if it performed it during its activation, it would not be able to perform the action again during that activation.
