For most EDC use cases, that is likely enough for most of people.
The charger cable design has been improved and the MCC now charges at a faster speed of 1 A, but it is still compatible for use with the same products that can be charged with the MCC. Like with (probably) all of their flashlights, Olight includes a battery and magnetic charging cord with the S2R Baton 2. It’s a great magnetic flashlight. The Baton 4 now boasts an impressive maximum output of 1,300 lumens, shining brighter than ever before. With an 8.3% increase in output compared to the Baton 3, you can now see objects brighter and clearer with a range of up to 170 meters. If your Olight product has any defect as the result of the materials or workmanship we want to make it right! The Baton 3 comes with everything you need for your next great EDC flashlight. An included IMR16340 can provide up to 20 hours of runtime on a single charge. If the light runs out of juice, the Baton 3 comes with Olight's proprietary MCC3 magnetic USB charging cable. The charging pad will snap to the bottom of the flashlight and let you charge with any available USB power source.With all the Warrior Mini and Warrior Mini 2’s that have come around lately, I’d honestly forgotten about the S2R Baton II. I love the Baton series, though (I have many, many of the 16340 cell version), so when this one hit my hands I remembered instantly how much I like the format. I am pleased that Olight is offering a neutral white CCT! This specific emitter is more green than I prefer, though. You can see more about that below. As for using and output of the light – I love it! Long Review The Big Table Olight S2R Baton II Flashlight All output numbers are relative for my home-made Integrating Sphere. It is set up with an Extech SDL400 Lux Meter for measurements including a Kenko PRO1D ND-16 filter. The base measurement is done with a Convoy S2+ that has been tested at 255 lumens. Measurements were taken both indoors at 5 meters and outdoors at 10 meters with a professional Hagner E4-X Lux Meter. Mode High: Stable output from the get-go with roughly 460+ lumens. After 3 hours and 54 minutes, it drops the first time, down to roughly 145 lumens. From 4 hours and 6 minutes, there is the last gradual drop. I stopped the runtime test before the light was shut off. This means that the battery was getting discharged pretty deeply, and I measured again about 2.53V at that point. Total runtime: 4 hours and 6 minutes.
The battery itself is a proprietary rechargeable 18650 lithium-ion battery with 3200mAh. I’m not sure why they didn’t include the same 3500mAh they normally provide with the Warrior Mini and Warrior Mini 2. This battery is coded: Olight ORB-186C32. Yes, Olight also pays attention to its knurling. If you look at the Olight Warrior Mini, or the Olight S1R Baton. you would almost imagine the Olight S2R Baton II to have the same knurling. But no, that’s not the case. I’m not sure which knurling I like better, but the knurling on the S2R Baton II really looks nice. There’s a magnet in the tail end, too. That magnet is mainly for charge connection, but is actually plenty strong for holding the light, too. Power and Runtime

Throw MeasurementThe indicator light on the magnet will go red while charging is in progress and turn green once charging is complete after approximately 3 hours, 30 minutes when charging the included battery if the power supply is sufficient enough to support the 2 A output, otherwise the cable will output at a lower rate or 1 A or 1.5 A depending on the power supply.
