The player can't use more than seven amiibo in a row, and the count will reset after clearing a stage. In The Arena and The True Arena, amiibo usage is marked if they have been completed successfully. Some amiibo can work in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate even if they don't correspond to one of the fighters in the game. Instead, these amiibo will give you corresponding Spirits.
