About this deal

The Millennium Falcon Microfighter (75295) features a seat for the Han Solo LEGO® minifigure and 2 stud shooters, for fun, creative play. Han Solo also has a blaster pistol. This one was probably quite obvious given that he appears throughout the show, but it would be really awesome to see a new minifigure of Falcon at some point in the future – hopefully to tie into the show, and the new outfit design which Sam Wilson wears throughout it. A new version of Falcon could really benefit from some arm and leg printing to capture some of the more unique details of Sam’s new costume – but, it could also easily put that extra budget into a unique piece to represent the Redwing Drone which we see Sam using in the early portions of this series.

Christmas trees have been produced in countless sets and involve equally varied construction methods. This flat design is unusual and would look bizarre in a more realistic setting, but I like the space-saving solution aboard the Millennium Falcon. Perhaps this is an unknown species of tree within the Star Wars galaxy. Also, the ornaments are attractive, notably including the trans-light blue snowflake on top.

Overall

It's a generational thing. I'm old enough to have been extremely disappointed in the prequels when they came out to the point where they kind of killed my interest in Star Wars. But people in their 20s and early 30s grew up with them so there's a nostalgic appreciation, plus the Clone Wars redeemed or at least cemented a lot of that lore in a lot of people's eyes. Those live action Disney remakes get initial merchandise and no more. Each SW film and TV series tends to get initial sets and never seen again. We've never seen more Rogue One, Solo, Obi-Wan merchandise after the original wave, whereas PT and OT continue to generate merchandise. I have a theory I'd like to test. Please, step into my office, watch this short clip, tell me how it makes you feel? Seems farfetched to some, but when the PT came out I didn't think there'd be ANYONE defending those films in the future. Now I regularly see some people say they prefer the PT to the OT, which just boggles my mind."

Crew bunks are found throughout the Millennium Falcon, recessed into the walls. One is thus located behind the curved seats and features accurate tan upholstery. The band of dark bluish grey elements around the bunk looks great, while the curvature of the seat corresponds with the source material. However, I would have preferred a printed dejarik table over this tiled version. The Star Wars LEGO UCS Millennium Falcon collector series starship also has a hidden floor compartment, two escape pod hatches and an access ladder to the gunnery station seat and a detachable hull panel with a fully rotating quad laser cannon. The main hold has seating for the minifigures, an engineering station with a turning seat for a minifigure, and a doorway build with passageway decoration. Make your way to the rear compartment to monitor the hyperdrive from the console.Millennium Falcon Holiday Diorama is an unexpected addition to the LEGO Star Wars range this year, but is a lot of fun. The minifigures are appealing and I think it is important that the essential Sequel Trilogy characters remain available, even if the films are not as popular as others in the Star Wars saga. Rey's lightsaber being the wrong colour is perplexing though. Now I do want to warn you in advance – at the time of writing this, four episodes of the show have been released on Disney Plus, and content from all four episodes of the show is likely to be referenced throughout this article. If you haven’t caught up with the series yet then I highly recommend that you watch it to avoid it being spoiled for you. With all that said, if you’re still here, then let’s get into it! The two MCU Falcon minifigures we have received so far have been very similar in terms of their colours and their designs – so it would be awesome to get something new and refreshingly different, and would add a lot of variety to our MCU minifigure collections. This model is further distinguished from others by the Life Day decorations, including a whole turkey and a carrot on the table in the centre. The red and white tablecloth looks splendid and originates directly from the Holiday Special, displaying exactly the same pattern. Moreover, the textured floor looks good and the table is easily removable, as are all the seasonal additions. Never thought about this but your probably right. It’s rather infuriating that they would have this policy for Star Wars as well as we’ll probably never see another Zeb minifigure ever again. You would think that with all these stories being connected and with kids always becoming old enough to be exposed to more of the older content that they would realize that there is a constant demand for all of their content and not just the content that was released last week.
