You may move a number of spaces equal to the amount you rolled on the 2 regular six-sided dice, OR you may take a Secret Passage if you are already located in a room that contains one. If you roll the Help Card symbol, draw a Help card and place it face up in front of you. These cards will remain in your possession for the remainder of the game. ULTIMATE GUESSING GAME: Divide yourselves up in teams, or play one on one, ask up to 10 questions to guess the city on the Game Card! Is it in Asia? Is the capital of a country? Is it touristic? Think hard, ask intelligent questions, use your clue cards wisely, and be the first player to win 7 Game Cards! Take the remaining Mystery cards and shuffle them together. Deal them out to each player, face down, until all players have an equal amount of cards in their possession. Any remainders will be placed face down in Dumbledore’s office. This version of the classic Clue game combines the standard clue idea of going from room to room making suggestions of who, what, and where. However, this version adds a few new ideas. The first is the ever changing board. On a players turn s/he roles three dice, two regular and a special die. The special die has the four houses of Hogwarts on it. This allows a player to change the layout of the board, by opening/closing doors, changing the secret passage way, reveling the dark mark (causing lose of house points), or getting help cards.

With all the extra Harry Potter-components, the game itself is not too difficult. It is about the same difficulty level as classic CLUE. The added house points, opening and closing passages, dark marks, and help cards make the game more interesting, not confusing.Players may have more trouble pronouncing Impedimenta or Petrificus Totalus from the choice of “weapons” featured in the picture above. The directions are very intuitive, though we at Leaky suggest all players start with two or three HELP cards, rather than one as the game’s directions suggest. If the player to your left does not have any of the Mystery cards you suggested, the player to their left must show a card if they have one. Keep going until a player shows you a card or until all players have passed because they have none of the cards you suggested. Lay the board game flat on your play area and make sure the wheels on each corner under the board are set up properly and that each wheel is positioned with the word “START” being visible. You have to use the letter tiles you get to make words with more difficult letters being worth more points. But in this version of Scrabble, things are a little different because there are new magic cards you can use.

Once your accusation is made, you must secretly look at the cards hidden in the secret envelope to see if you were correct. If you were correct, reveal the secret cards to all players – you have won the game! As Leaky reported earlier this year, USAopoly re-released their popular Harry Potter version of CLUE. These cards have unique words from the Harry Potter series that will give you bonus points if you can spell them. Also, because this is Harry Potter Scrabble, any words like spells from the series are counted as official, meaning you can go beyond the dictionary. Jenga is the perfect party game! While it’s easy to play, the game is difficult to win, which makes it so much fun. Building the tower and then slowly trying to disassemble it without it falling is harder than you might think. I should point out that this isn’t a Clue Junior game. The game is intended for ages eight and up.
