About this deal

Since the 4000X, 5000X and 7000X lines offer tempered glass front panels, they also come with CORSAIR SP RGB Elite AirGuide fans in the box whereas the 4000D, 5000D, and 7000D lines will come with non-RGB AirGuide fans. The 7000 Series comes equipped with 140mm fans and the 4000/5000 Series come with 120mm fans. In the larger 5000 and 7000 Series cases, you’ll also find a PWM repeater to help manage cooling. Build in Full View: The 7000X RGB showcases your system behind three gorgeous tempered glass panels while making You'll use the PWM hub for at least 3 of the fans on a radiator, possibly all 6. Those will be controlled from a single port on the Commander Core XT. The HydroX Thermal sensor can go to the CoCoXT (from the XD7 - it comes with the sensor) as well as a single temp sensor for the case exhaust temperature. These would then be your two control variables for your fans. You can see the clearance there too. The fittings will be much easier to deal with mounted like this. I'm not sure about the 420 in the front yet. If it does work, it's close.

Finally - adding a Lighting Node Pro into the mix to control some strips. It will probably be 4-6 inside the case and a connection going out of the case for the six strips under my desk. The user manual doesn't claim support for side and front radiators installed together, but it might not account for such thin ones. Corsair 7000 Series Cases / HydroX Options : This is an ongoing list of different configurations with HydroX and the 7000 series cases.

You can put 6 of the fans on a fan hub/Lightning Node Pro channel and then the other 4 on the Commander Core. The HydroX components can also be controlled from the Commander Core XT's 3-pin RGB port. Fully Equipped Front Panel I/O: Includes a USB 3.1 Type-C Port, 4x USB 3.0 ports, and a combination As you can see, a good bit of that top fan on the side is covered by the fan on the 420mm radiator. While I didn't measure it, there is no where near enough space for a radiator to go there (which is why I didn't bother measuring it). it possible to install multiple radiators including 3x simultaneous 360mm or 2x simultaneous 420mm for extreme

All the Storage You Need: Fits a multitude of drives thanks to 6x combo 2.5in / 3.5in drive trays and 4x 2.5in SSD The Commander Core will control the case airflow fans - these will be the 4 QL-RGB fans on the size and a 5th QL-RGB fan in the rear. I may use the SP-RGB Elite that came with the case in the rear instead (I've not made a final decision on that yet). You won't be able to use either of the covers for the front section so it won't look quite as 'finished' or 'polished'. I do really wish Corsair would do a better mount for 3.5" drives but that's what it is.A spacious interior that accommodates a plethora of fans and multiple 360mm radiators or two 420mm radiators simultaneously Smart RGB and Fan Speed Control: An included CORSAIR iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT Controller, CORSAIR iCUE The CORSAIR iCUE 7000X RGB full tower ATX case puts your build on display behind three tempered glass panels. CORSAIR RapidRoute cable management easily keeps your cables hidden from sight, while a massive interior enables a multitude of cooling options, including room for up to three simultaneous 360mm radiators and customizable side fan mounts that accommodate up to a 420mm radiator. Four included CORSAIR SP140 RGB ELITE fans deliver amazing lighting and concentrated airflow, controlled by an included iCUE COMMANDER CORE XT. Show off your components behind a tool-free tempered glass panel and add your own personal touch with a customizable windowed PSU shroud complete with a three-slot vertical GPU mount. With room for up to ten storage drives, a front I/O panel including a USB Type-C port and four USB 3.0 ports, and easy-access hinged side doors, you can build your magnum opus in the 7000X RGB.

You have the CoCore XT and the PWM hub that come with the case. ... plus a LNP and RGB Hub (only one? or two?) hidden channel, with an easy-access hinged door and a roomy 30mm of space behind the motherboard for all of your The COMMANDER CORE XT is the next generation of the COMMANDER PRO; it can support up to 12 CORSAIR RGB fans. The COMMANDER CORE XT has a connector for CORSAIR RGB strips.

And you'll have a Lighting Node Pro channel to spare for more RGB ... you can get the strip expansion kit ... because one can never have too many RGBz. Customizable Windowed PSU Shroud: Add your own personalized inserts, perfect for creating a jaw-dropping mod.

Is there any room for a 480 rad on the side when there is a 420 rad on top? It looks like you're not planning on mounting anything to the side mounts.

Keeping Your Build Cool

I would have liked to see bottom fan slots. In my current build, with a Supermicro M12SWA-TF motherboard and a NH-U14S TR4-SP3 cooler, the heatsink is oriented so that the CPU fans blow vertically. So in my Phanteks Enthoo Pro 2 case, I set up the case fans so that I've got 2 exhaust fans directly above the CPU, and 2 intake fans at the bottom of the case, blowing upwards towards those 2 exhaust fans. Those 2 bottom intake fans are probably not essential, since I also have 2 front intake fans, but I like having them anyway. This new case lineup is our best yet and we can’t wait to see what builds you’ll make with them! For those still deciding which case to go with, here are some final notes that may help:
