About this deal

Optional noodle swaps: out of ramen or rice noodles? Feel free to use spaghetti or fettuccine noodles. Using rice noodles will keep this recipe gluten free, or simply choose a gluten free pasta!

Sliced Peppers. I use serrano peppers for a good level of heat, though you can use milder peppers, such as jalapeno peppers. Try habanero peppers, ghost peppers or something superhot like scorpion peppers, 7 pot peppers or the Carolina reaper for some dramatic heat. Add in the red pepper, carrots, cilantro, peanuts, red pepper flakes and sesame seeds. Then stir, stir, stir. Combine everything together: A dd the noodles and sauce to the skillet and cook until the noodles are fully coated with the sauce. Then, turn the temperature to high heat, add bean sprouts, and cook for another 3 minutes. Add green onions, and cook for 2 minutes or until the onions are wilted. For the sauce: the rest of the sauce is made with a bit of coconut sugar, tomato paste, hot chili paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar and water. Easy to customize. While delicious on their own, these work as a blank canvas, so add some protein, different veggies, or even some toasted nuts.Prep the aromatics: Finely chop garlic and thinly slice green onion. Keep green part of the onion separately for garnish

Serving: Since it’ll be more of a soup, you’d ladle it into bowls ensuring each serving has a good mix of noodles, veggies, and broth. Noodles: I love using ramen or rice noodles in this recipe! See below for more swaps and ways to make this dish gluten free. Adjustment of Ingredients: With the addition of broth, you might want to increase the quantities of the sauce ingredients slightly to ensure the flavors remain pronounced in the soup. Sesame Oil. Hot sesame oil is ideal here for the spicy food lover, though you can use a milder sesame oil. These spicy noodles are loaded with garlic and chili and take less than 10 minutes to cook! Made with simple ingredients, they make a tasty Asian dinner that tastes like Takeout!

This hot and spicy noodles recipe is DELICIOUS! I make it at least once a week and always have a jar of spicy sauce prepped in my fridge. What we love about this recipe is how FAST and easy it is to make, yet tastes like something you’d get at an Asian restaurant. Just like our Korean spicy noodles, once you try it, you’ll never make your go-to noodles again. Ingredients needed As we mentioned earlier, what makes this dish such a winner is how easy it is to customize. It seriously works as a clean-out-the-fridge kind of meal, and you can (mostly) add whatever you like to it. Here are some ideas:

I like to make mine nice and spicy with all sorts of wonderful ingredients. There are many spicy ramen recipes out there, but most call for a few squirts of sriracha and call it a day. This recipe uses simple and easy ingredients. You probably have everything already in your pantry and if not, we can find them at any basic grocery store. Here is what you’ll need: Ramen Noodles. 4 ounces ramen noodles is perfect for 2 people. You can try this with other noodles, but ramen instant noodles are ideal. Or use thin round wheat noodles. Test for doneness: Take a strand and taste it. Noodles should cook through but still have a slight firmness
