About this deal

They’re light, fold up fairly compact, but are slightly bigger and less comfortable than the Bose QC35 II. They also don’t feel as robust, but have a similar subtle styling. The MX1000M3 battery lasts around 30 hours between charges with everything going, the headphones can be used via cable and charged by USB-C, which is great.

The led on the headphones indicate the charging status so you can clearly see when they’re ready to go. We liked This will be a problem if you intend on using the headphones for your entire work day or on a long-haul flight; but if you are just looking for an out-and-about pair of headphones for your commute, these will do nicely. The BNX-100 are, like their predecessor, a set of wireless over-the-ear active noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones. They look a lot classier than the BNX-60, though, and Lindy says it has tweaked the sound quality and improved the ANC performance. I absolutely love these BNX-60's as the sound quality and ANC are amazing at this price. I originally bought them to use on long haul flights where they excel, easily drowning out engine noise making the flight far more relaxing. They cope very will with constant hum such as aircraft engines but like all ANC phones do not do so well with drowning out speech. There is no doubt that my Sony's do a better job of reducing the noise of someone speaking but they were three times the price. And they deliver in terms of performance. They feel a lot more expensive than they are, they're a dream to use, and the Bluetooth connection remains stable. They even sound pretty great for the money, with a pleasant and spacious presentation and enthusiastic, energetic and accurate bass. We recommend you return any goods via a postal/carriage service that requires a signature upon delivery. Volume is controlled in two ways; there is a button control on the left earcup for interacting with the volume controls within a smartphone, and a wheel on the right earcup for operating the BNX-60’s internal amp. It’s sensible to have this latter control at close to maximum, as there’s a small chance of touching the wheel when it comes to removing the headphones and inadvertently increasing the volume to maximum. For those that can afford the hefty price tag, these are the most effective headphones, highly comfortable and built for the road. Sony WH-MX1000M3 There is also a microphone on-board so you can use the headphones for hands free calls with just a simple press of the play button. You do get into the weird territory of not knowing how loud to talk because of the noise cancelling but it’s not the end of the world.

These won a 2022 What Hi-Fi? Award, so the answer is yes indeed. The C500 handle the basics very well, with Bluetooth 5.0, and compatibility with SBC and AAC codecs. Battery life is a healthy 10 hours from the earbuds themselves, and another 10 from the charging case, making a total of 20. The item(s) are returned within 30 days of cancellation. The 30 days start the day after you have notified us of the cancellationThe battery life on the BNX-60’s is admirable. From intermittent office use (a few hours each day) they lasted just over three weeks. A full charge took three hours plugged into our computer’s USB port. They're impressively small (thanks in part to their smaller driver), and their light weight helps make them even more comfortable than Sony's flagship WF-1000XM4. They feel more expensive than they are, thanks to little additions like magnets on the charging case that snap the buds into place. And they come in a range of finishes, including lavender and sage green, both of which are a bit more adventurous than the more staid colourways of the XM4. Lindy’s talent for providing low-cost alternatives for items which sometimes run into hundreds of pounds is perhaps a well kept secret, given that they don’t advertise as prominently. Maybe they’re hoping to capitalise on the Lindy Hop phenomenon, but there’s no sign of any ‘jitter bug’ here. Pros:

You’re likely to still be able to hear nearby conversations, although these headphones still diminish their presence a decent amount. That said we’re yet to see someone not be impressed on first trying a pair like the Bose 700. Can you use noise cancelling without music? The noise cancelling isn’t the best we’ve ever experienced, but at the price we wouldn’t expect it to be. It does a good job of taking out any constant sounds, but struggles with unexpected sounds. To give an example, we could still hear people talking and even typing in the office with noise cancelling on. The Lindy BNX-60 headphones boast a sensitivity of 103 dB, making them capable of delivering a powerful audio experience. With an impedance of 100 Ω, these headphones provide efficient sound reproduction. The battery, utilizing Lithium Polymer (LiPo) technology, offers a capacity of 320 mAh, ensuring a long-lasting listening session. The BNX-60’s are a surprisingly good set of headphones for the price. If you are looking for an everyday set of headphones that are a step above your standard cheap set but won’t break the bank, these are for you.

Pros: Superb noise-cancelling; chunky, full-scale, detailed sound Cons: Physically quite big; battery life is nothing special The earpads and headband padding are dense but springy, giving comfort which is quite good considering the BNX-60’s low weight of 200 grams (or just over 7 ounces). If you’re a glasses wearer, the earpads give decent enough comfort for short sessions but this may get to be a problem if worn for hours on end. However the smallish earpads will allow most to just rest the arms of the glasses on them without altering the angle of the lenses too much. There are four different ways the BNX-60 can sound, depending on whether it is fully wireless or wired/with ANC enabled, or off. With ANC off, the sound seems comparatively indistinct and foggy whether the cable is used or not. with the ANC enabled, the midrange is more present and the overall volume rises significantly so watch out if you’re listening at a high volume and wish to turn on the ANC feature. The sound is detailed and dynamic, and remains on-point even at full volume. If you like your bass booming you may be disappointed but if your tastes are eclectic and you also listen to a lot of acoustic or retro music, these headphones offer the best sound. Noise cancelling can generally be used without music playing. However, some pairs will auto power-off after a period when either not playing anything or not connected to a phone. When it comes to wireless earbuds, Sony has sewn up the high end with the WF-1000XM4. But can it do the same at the budget end of the market with the WF-C500? There are also some call handling features built in; so as well as the obvious call answer and hang up functions here, the BNX-60 supports voice dialling and last number redial among other features. Durability and Build Quality Incorporating hybrid noise cancelling technology using noise detection microphones like the BNX-80 the BNX-100XT provide superior noise suppression over a wide range of frequencies regardless of the direction of the sound to provide up to 95% ambient noise cancellation.
