This fun new product for the holiday season comes as promotion steps up for Doctor Who's 60th-anniversary specials, which are the first in several years with returning showrunner Russell T Davies in charge. January's text introduces the Doctor and Rose, while the remaining months feature images from the stories from the recent Series One.

This advent(ure) calendar features coasters with art from classic Doctor Who episodes, and gifts fans will love – including pin badges, a Dalek bottle opener and a Sontaran egg cup for your Christmas or Boxing Day breakfast.

Designed in the shape of the Doctor’s iconic time machine this luxury box calendar is absolutely stuffed with 24 high-quality festive gifts and accessories from across space and time. Originally planned with a cover featuring the Seventh Doctor, the 1990 Doctor Who calendar from Who Dares Publishing was cancelled. Published by Andrew Skilleter's company ( Who Dares Publishing) after the US licence had expired. This was a very successful first venture, selling 20, 000 copies in the USA alone. It showcased the artist's work. This rectangular calendar featured artwork from Colin Howard (four pieces), Paul Vyse, Alister Pearson, Les Edwards, Alistair Hughes, Lee Sullivan, Brian Hudd, Pete Wallbank and Mark Oldroyd.

Andrew Skilleter was having difficulty with a heavy workload. With time running short for the twenty-fifth Anniversary calendar, he enlisted the help of Stuart Hughes, who had worked on The Companions and provided four additional pieces.
