About this deal

Claim all of the biomass in the galaxy for the all powerful Hive Mind with this Broodswarm. It features several units that are ideal for inclusion in any Tyranid force, whether you’re starting a new army or adding to an existing one, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Amighty Greater Daemon of Khorne, Ka’bandha, had coveted the Blood Angels’ souls since the time of the Primarch. His daemonic horde might have driven all the Blood Angels to madness, but thanks to the skilled intervention of the might Chief Librarian Mephiston, he instead found himself slaughtering hordes of Tyranids. This would be perfect with the Librarian as you could replace his shoulder pad with the Character upgrade (with a little bit of hobby work). Also, I’m curious if we’re going to see any other options for the Blood Angels in the Combat Patrol. The Space Wolves Combat Patrol allowed for players to build the new Hounds of Morkai unit as an alternative option. Perhaps we’ll see an option for an alternate Blood Angels unit, too.

There are three, unique Blood Angels dreadnoughts. The Furioso Dreadnought is a regular ‘box’ dreadnought, equipped with two close combat weapons, one of which it can upgrade for the infantry-pasting frag cannon. Tzaangor Enlightened – champions of Tzeentch who use their discs to get into combat at incredible speeds. These can also be built as lethal long-ranged Tzaangor Skyfires. I converted many units and found that even a simple head swap can completely change its look and feel. Take the Suppressors with Mark VII helmets, they bridge the gap between eras of Space Marines.Tzeentch’s might is yours to master with the Fatesworn Host – a massive battleforce set that’s perfect for starting or expanding a Tzeentch army. Inside, you’ll find the makings of a vast force, giving you a fantastic point to expand out from, all for less than you’d pay getting the models separately. Lead your forces with a Lord of Change and Gaunt Summoner while shattering enemies with formations of Kairic Acolytes and Tzaangors. The Tyranids have invaded the galaxy from beyond the intergalactic void, their hive fleets slithering like tendrils into every region of the galaxy. Driven by the imperatives of the almighty Hive Mind, their swarms sweep over world after world in a living tide of biological killing-machines and seek to devour every last shred of biomass in their path. After painting some Phobos units and Impulsors , I added Outrider bikes and Invader ATVs . Next in the painting queue are two Storm Speeders and a Gladiator tank , all of which I’ll paint in the same camo scheme. Forgefiend (supplied with a Citadel Large Oval Base, can alternately be assembled as a Maulerfiend) Finally, I essentially have an army within the army – my forward operators in Ossian Suppression pattern desert camo. The seed for this colour scheme was planted when I was looking through the classic Warhammer 40,000 Compendium and saw camouflaged Rhinos and Land Raiders .

Kairic Acolytes – the frontline troops of the Disciples of Tzeentch, dangerous at any range and capable of offering magical support. Each can be equipped with a choice of weapons, and the kit comes with a variety of accessories for personalising and upgrading your models. Airbrush Scale 75 Dwarven Gold over most of the upper surfaces of the model, again leaving the Viking gold mostly from the mid-point down.Blood Angels are a truly classic Warhammer 40k faction, appearing in John Blanche’s amazing cover art for the second edition Warhammer 40k starter set. This guide introduces you to their lore and the core features of their army, as well as some of the specialised units you’ll want to consider when building out a Blood Angels force.
